I just thought that I would pass this on.
I had contacted someone at Energy 92.7/5 recently about getting some new freestyle played on the station. Here was the response:
Dear Roger,
Both Noel and Robin Fox are in our regular gold rotation, but you may not have heard them because unlike some of the other stations we have a very large library from the 70's to now. Most of our older songs only get played once every five to seven days, some longer than that. The usual rotation for stations that play older songs is once or twice per day per title.
The new songs you mention by those artists (Will I find True Love-Noel, Ceres, and Robin Fox and etc.) have not been provided to us by record companies (many of the smaller dance labels in the U.S. do not service radio) and our club reporters have not indicated that they are having success with them as of yet.
Re: Safire....the new single is not out to radio yet....they are still trying to get Can You Stand The Rain on radio.

I don't understand what they meant by 'still trying to get "Can you stand the rain" on radio because it is in rotation there. I think he meant still trying to work the single on radio over America.
I hope some of the smaller labels will start sending them their promos if they read this.
