Kenny I beg to differ especially with you, but I hope that the "beat" you speak of is that Planet Rock s**t. As far as I'm concerned most if not all of the greatest Freestyle jamz were all unique.I've heard discussions of Freestyle evolving but it must remain true to the "recipe" that makes a song Freestyle!! Would you be able to pick out other music like rock or jazz? Sure, you know why, cause they have a distinguishing sound.The same holds true with Freestyle. Love lyrics and a lousy beat just won't do it.That whole "planet rock"thing was definitley not a move in a new direction cause that sound came out way back in 82!!:nutz

FrEEjacK00, i meant just about every song that was released after 1994. they all sounded the same therefore no body gave it airplay because it seemed no one was trying with the music anymore.
