This is a new poem I wrote. Hope ya like it.
My heart is a book, to it I am sworn
The pages there, tattered and torn
You are inside, I have you here
When I'm afraid you're always near
Your pages, I think are the most worn
So often I've turned to them as I mourn
Emotion is the color of my word
Choices I've made, echoes unheard
Tell me girl, what you've written within
That to live in regret is a hidden sin
Added photos, Hope they don't fade
To go along with those promises made
I shut this book, can't bear to write any longer
Vowing, next time my words will be stronger
