Words hurt more than physical pain,
especially when said by friends.
Does it make you happy,
knowing how much it hurts me?
Does it make you feel like a better person,
or that you are in control?
This may be stretching it,
but does it make you feel superior
by berating andchasting those
who have what you may never achieve?
Whatever your reasons or intentions,
it still doesn't give you the right
to sit there and accuse or judge
those who don't view life
the same as you do.
Apologies may come,
but by then, why should anyone listen?
Do you enjoy alienating people?
Are you trying to go through life
making as many enemies as you can?
When the attention isn't focuse on you,
you seem to have this perverse need
to get the attention back on you.
But face reality: that's not how life works,
things are not centered around you,
and you are not the be all end all
of anyone's life.
Especially mine.
You have this need for drama,
and truthfully,
I'm sick of all this crap.
So while you sit there,
ranting, raving, carrying on
and telling me how immature I am,
stop and think a minute.
Then maybe when you take the time
to shut up,
you'll realize you're the one
who needs to grow up,
and stop acting like an ass.

Wow sweety, I couldnt have said it better! Why do friends tend to do that? Some just say things because they are mad, but dont they understand..That it hurts us just as much as them saying it themselves hurts? I mean, honestly...I take things really seriously, because if you were to say something, something so mean and hurtful, do you think I would just let it slip? Its good that they actually said those things, cause then thats how you realize, that thats the way they feel...Good jog sweety! BEAUTIFUL!

Thanx Crystal! I wrote that one back in September when one of my "freiends" errupted on this tyraid. She then tried to blame a bad mood and all, but still, she said some hurtful things to me and I couldn't understand why. Then after nights spent loosing sleep and all, I realized that she has no excuse and for whatever reason she really didn't consider me her friend. And I am the same way, I take things seriously as well and over the years I've come to look at it this way: if you don't want me as a friend, then its your loss, not mine. Granted it still hurts when stuff like that happens, but that saying does help me get through those tough moments.

Thats right girl! Its her loss...Thats exactly what I say!!! You see, I have a close friend, who I have been for no matter what. We get into arguments about things, and sometimes, she does say hurtful things, but I cant leave her side, because I feel that she would be lost with out me..And im not just saying that to make myself look good..She has been through things, that I have helped her with...Its hard for her, and I know I wont let anyone try to help her with her problem now, because only I understand..I have been going through this with her for 2 years....But if there ever comes a time, when I had enough of her treating me like shit...Its her loss....

That's a good point...after awhile, people need to realize that they can't just walk all over people and take advantage of their kindness. I'm glad to hear that you are trying to help your friend out and that you're standing by her side. Besides as you get older, the things that are argued about now, won't matter(or play as big a part) as yrs go by. I know this because I have one best friend who I call my sister. We have known each other since we were 4 yrs old, and these last 17 yrs have been a growing process and still is. Luckily we never had a serious fight, and both of us would be lost without the other. But over the yrs we have definately had our moments. If they're a true friend, you find a way to work things out. I have a poem to her, and she cried when she read it...I'll post it later on in the week, because she is such a special person to me, I want everyone to know it...LOL.

Awww..lol...You do that sweety! I have posted a poem about her, the friend I am talking about..She never read it though...It had to do with her problem, and that I will always be by her side...

What can I say, its hard to find a true friend. Personally in real life, Im a loner. And the only one right now, that is true to me, and very down to earth, is the little fresca here in this thread, little one. 😛
