At the moment in Upstate NY but will be moving to
On 9/11/2001,I was commuting to NYC on the NJ Transit so I could go to the Mount Sinai Hospital for a doctor's appointment. It was a day like many others at first for me.The train was pulling into the Hoboken station and me and everyone else on the train from the windows seen a horrible sight,a jet crashing into the north tower of the World Trade Center.I got off the train and went to the river edge and took a few photos of the North Tower.I then went to the PATH and took the PATH into the World Trade Center. That was the last PATH to ever go in or out of the World Trade Center forever.I was told later that the PATH train I was on was destroyed when the WTC went down.I was a limo driver in NY for more than 25 years and was in NYC many times with the limos and I was at McDonalds near Wall Street on Broadway having lunch there February 26,1993.If you all remember, that was the day the World Trade Center was attacked the first time and the terrorists did not bring it down.I seen the entire attack then and I seen the horror and fear and remembered that when the WTC was attacked on 9/11/2001.I seen both attacks and I am heartsick because of it.The city of New York, the greatest city in the world, where I was born and raised, the city I truly love was under attack.I truly wish the entire incident would not have happened but as long as we elect government officials who like to coddle these deranged parasites,we will be attacked again and again.I truly hope that the many people like me who survived these attacks can find inner peace.I have to a point but I am an Ordained Minister and I must have given Last Rites more times in 2001 than I have in my entire life with the Ministry.I was at Ground Zero almost constantly from 9/12 to 10/1 and many other volunteer Chaplains like me were there and the entire incident just about drained all of us.It is a year later and I can only hope that the City Of New York will build again and make a bigger and taller tower than the former World Trade Center. The thing I truly wish for is better security.I worked at all of the airports in New York and New Jersey and the security has always been shoddy.I was at Newark Airport recently with my brother.I was taking him to Newark with his wife and children so they could fly to Hawaii for a vacation. The airlines are always coming on the radio and television with the many new security devices and practices that are now in place at all the airports.I am truly sorry to say this but I seen nothing new that would indicate to me that the security there is better than when I last worked there in June 1996.I can only tell all of you that if you need to travel, you should consider driving.Take care all and God Bless You.
Yours Truly
