Hey guys,
the same company putting Jem, Transformers, & G.I. Joe on DVD, has a poll on their site asking fans what would they really like to see next on DVD, & Thundercats is on there!

Who would play Lion-O? I think Vin Deisel looks like him, just give him long red hair! 🙂

For those that dont know,
the first season (1985), consists of the first 5 episodes that were later turned into a movie on VHS back in da day.
They were also done with a tight budget, so the animation is not bad, but it's not as great as the rest of the shows run.

The 2nd season, (the next 21 episodes, 1986), has the better animation, & the stories were fun & dramatic, yet kinda "kiddie".

Through Season 3 (1987), & season 4 (1988), more characters were added, & the stories & scenario's seem to take a more teen/adult theme. It basically turned into an animated, music celebrity version of "Melrose Place" - lol.
The series had 65 episodes in all.

Just wanted to let u guys know in case u were curious.

They are the ones releasing Jem on DVD, & I hardly see anything on their site, yet other sites like Amazon, etc, have Jem on there.

oh shiat I definitly want to get this. I think my younger daughter would like it very much. I think even my oldest would like it too!!!

Many peeps get all into this show, even my boyz, (my straight guy friends).
I notice most of my guy friends like "The Stingers" more. (The bad trio - a guy lead singer, & 2 sexy girlz - that came out on the last season).

All in all, its one of the best toons (style & story) I have yet to see.

IT'S FINALLY OUT!!!

The 80's animated music Diva sensation is now available on DVD at most stores & major online shops!
I got my set! & The packaging is unique, I like it -lol.

Yeah, I remember hearing about this announcement a little while back. Even though I'm a dude, my 2 younger sisters watched this stuff religiously back in the mid 80s & I sometimes caught a couple of episodes (we had bought the pilot episode(s) on VHS...don't ask me where it is NOW...might even be worth some $$$).

As for Rhino, they bought the rights to some of the best 80s toons to release, they do a good job remastering the soundtracks to 5.1 Kick-A$$ audio...

...I know because I now have the COMPLETE collection of The Transformers that Rhino released. Season 3 Part II & Season 4 was just released & I swooped it up without even thinking twice! Awesome stuff!!!!!!!

Man, TF truly lasted the test of time, as Transformers Energon is currently on the air! U know, they should redo the Jem franchise with a new, updated series also. With more of today's type of music 'n' whatnot! Company B, I'm sure you'd love that! Chick cartoon's nowadays suck!

The main writer of the Jem show recently said that if it were to happen, she'd be down to do it. 🙂
She also wrote for the G.I. Joe series back then.
& I cant wait to get my new TF on DVD!

Hellzz Yeahzz!! I own most of Rinos Transformers DVD and Im so happy I do. I can kick back hours and be in 1986 again. Its like a weird high listning to the sounds and music of my child hood. Im really considering If I should just go a head and Buy Jem, After all Im in the need of some new dvds anyways.

As an 80's collector, I have them all, some loose & some in the box.
MIB = ("Mint In Box")
NRFB = ("Never Removed From Box")

They can go for anywhere between $20 - $2,000.
It also depends on the seller.

All my He-Man's, G I Joes, TF, etc. Little by little I am getting them all back. Kinda sux to know you already had them in the first place, but oh well. 🙂
I even had all the Silverhawks, Thundercats, & M.A.S.K.!
