Dateline: Daytona beach, Fla.
An ex-con who blamed a young woman for taking his video game and clothes recruited three teens to stab and beat three others to death and her dog, said investigators.
The 22 year old woman was singled out for an attack so vicious that even dental records were useless in trying to identify her. Some of the victims were attacked in their sleep including the dog who was nearly decapitaded.
The victims were found in a blood splattered home on Friday.
All four suspects have been charged with first degree murder and armed burglary, the Volusis Counnty sheriff's dept. said.
Suspected ringleader Troy Victorino, 27, of deltona, was" Very guarded" during questioning, Sheriff Ben Johnson said. Three 18 year olds were arrested Saturday: Robert Cannon, of Orange City and Jerome Hunter and Michael Salas, both of Daytona.
All four were jailed while awaiting bail hearings on Monday.
Investigators struggling to find motive for the slayings believe the victims were killed over the theift of an X-Box and Clothes owned by Victorino.(AP)
