You cant just catch it with a kiss
and you cant buy it with candy and gifts
If you ever had it and lost it, It'll be something you'll miss
and it's not something thats granted on a wish.
It's something you search for,
and It's not an item thats sold door to door
It's a feeling your heart feels deep in its core
It can start of as a friendship, then lead to more.
It could be something that comes out of nowhere
and if you catch it, then grasp it and hold it dear.
I lost hold once, and swore my heart I would no longer share
but Im ready now and been searching for it year after year
Still no luck but my search isn't over
It's not like it grows from the ground disguised as a clover
It doesn't fly high in the air disguised as a bird
But I'll never give up my search for this 4 letter word
