Well I Dont Smoke And No Who Enters My House Does Either. My Mother Is A Smoker But Will Not Light Up In Front Of Me Or My Kids. If You Wanna Smoke Go Right Ahead But We Have A Right To Breath Also

Ur not nutz Joe ur 100% right, smokers will laugh like theres nothing wrong with 2nd hand smoke. A few years ago we went to court cause a neighbor's smoke came into our condo everyday while Kim was pregnant, it was disgusting but there was nothing we could do, it's a long story for another time. Best of luck with ur situation Joe. 🙂
 
guess i gotta take my mom and other people i know who smoke near me to court then since they dont lisn to me . i wont know what i have untill i go to the doctor in may. till then its no sleep and all stress worryin
 
Joe, take this advise. From your post, i take it you're still a teen living at home. If thats the case, keep the door to your room closed at all times and keep the window cracked to get fresh air. You don't have to hang around the kitchen table when your family members light up. Either go to your room or step outside for air. Since it's your moms house and it's obvious she's not gonna stop smoking, you're just gonna have to tough it out. You'll be smoke free at school, at work, and hanging with your friends outside the house. When you get your own place, you set the rules and everyone has to comply or they're just not welcomed. No one is allowed to smoke in my house. If i have company with smokers, they have to step outside to get a smoke. No if's, and's or but's.


As far as telling your mom she may get sick and you want her to stop, forget about it. No matter what i say my mom just doesn't listen...so now i say nothing. When she complains she's not feeling well, i tell her i don't want to hear it. When she asks why i don't care, i simply say that she doesn't listen so why am i killing myself over it. She's an adult and can make her own decisions.
 
im far from a teen and yea i still live at home such a life i have .

she smokes near the computer i always gotta cover up before i sign on and i do crack a window 32 years i been dealin with 2 hand smoke so i wont be shocked if i have cancer but all the smokers wanna make jokes and say i dont have cancer . well if i do i know who to snap on first after the doctor gives me the bad news .
 
Sec hand smoke is worst then the person smokin it and I know that cuz this week I went to take my daughter to the doc and he told me cuz she has asthma...
But yeah people that are hook to it dont understand that ... But is true ..YOu should get a letter from the doc so they could see that you not talking shit that is for real ... ...
 
my one doctor who did the surgery on my leg for the cysts told me it was not cancer and i told him the whole thing about how my dad died from cancer he just looked and said shut up u dont have cancer and u cant get cancer if u dont smoke he did not belive what he heard about the 2 hand stuff and he is a doctor some doctor i have but i do have crazy doctors one said i would not live to see 8 years old im 32 now . and this doctor laughs when i tell him about im scared that i think i may have it .
 
Maybe not get cancer like that but yeah it afact you cuz the doctor told me she can not be around people that smoke in front of her or in the house ...
 
i was in and out of the hospital from problems breathing and they asked me if i know anybody who smokes i said yes my mom my dad who passed in 97 my grandmom who passed in 93 and cousin so they say there is your problem . but i cant make them stop smokin its on them but it will kill me one day to.
 
i used to smoke, and whenever i did it i felt weird and my head hurt. plus i had tons of panic attacks. since i quit i have less panic attacks. but whenever im like in a car with smokers getting smoked out i start feeling funny again. plus ive noticed how nasty people's breath stinks from cigerattes, ew
