ok i been up the last few days worryin about my health and it has to do with smoking no i dont smoke but im near people who do and ever since then i been havin almost the same pain my dad had then he passed in 97 but when i tell my mom and other smokers im near they laugh like im nuts of course they wanna stick up for the smokers but what about the non smokers like me am i going nuts or is the 2 hand really killing me like it got my dad my back has been hurting bad and when i tell doctors one says no i cant get cancer from 2 hand smoke and i see on tv that some one has cancer and never smoked a day in there life so i need help on if anyone thinks i will be ok or is the 2 hand going to kill me before im 40 .
 
Ughh I hate smoking...yuck. Unfortunately, my mom is a smoker & I beg her to try & quit but she says it's soo hard cuz smoking is like an addiction. I never seen whats so great in smoking but she says it calms her nerves, hell maybe I should try it to see if it calms my nerves...LOL. Nahh I think it's gross. But I heard second hand smoke is just as bad as smoking a cig
 
then i only have 8 years to live is thats the case my mom is a smoker like crazy from the time she gets up and all day . and she smokes near the computer and i tell it to quit but all she says is ok i heard that its getting old . they way she is smoking she wont be around to see what old is and neither will i with all the smokers im near . only ones that dont smoke is me and my older sister im thinking of movin with her to get in a smoke free place but its to late i guess .

But seriously.. I am a smoker and I respect the wishes of my friends that don't smoke by not smoking in my house when they come over, or in my car nor do I ask to smoke in theirs.. I tell em just to be prepared for a pit stop..

fuk it i dont care what people say anymore blow the smoke near me please i will be in a better place were my true friends are and dad and no backstabbers . so smoke all ya want people enjoy . and if i do have cancer i know who to blame .
 
Joe i was kidding im soweeeeee... seriously im a smoker.. & if your in my car TOO BAD but if im in someones elses car or house & they say they dont like it ill just go outside....
 
well thats nothing to kid around about i lost my grandmother from a stroke she smoked i lost my dad to cancer he smoked and other family members passed from smoking and now i gotta live around smokers who can care less if im in front of them . and i never smoked a day in my life because im the smart one i know u gotta go someday but i wanna go old not young and deal with pain that my dad did he was only 52 when he died of lung and bone cancer so i get scared when my back hurts because he said the same thing and the next u know the doctor told him he had cancer . and im not sure anymore about being loved . but i do have a few friends very few . and i dont say bad thing about anybody.
 
I have heard that its worse if you are a person that does not smoke and are around people that smoke. I for one since I have gotten pregnant I try to stay away from my mother because I read in an article from parenting that if you smoked you would be some one that could have a premature birth, I also read that if you did not smoke and was around some one that did smoke all the time you could end up giving birth early or having a low weight baby, so I stay away from that. I tell her not to smoke till I leave. So I know where you are coming from you should not be around people that smoke because not onmly are they killing themselves but they are also killing you or making you at risk for all those other diseases that come with smoking.
 
well she smoked while she was prg with me thats why im so tiny and i was born a month early and i am under weight but she still dose not lisn its not just my health im lookin out for but she says stop already thats why i cant sleep my back has been killin me and i am to scared to go get checked if i find out that i do have cancer she prob wont stop then either .
 
God forbid you have cancer you know I know how the feeling is cause when my mother is around me or when I was younger I used to tell her to stop smoking and she would say its too hard its the same thing Philly girls mom would say but the said thing is its not like an addiction it is an addiction. Hey and if you can't beat em join em. (lol) Just joking, what I would do to my mom is hide her cigarettes or pretend I was coughing she would eventually get tired of me acting and move away from me. I wish I could help you though, I understand how it is to be worried about your health and it seems like others are not caring. Just thin about it you can haunt them later LOL
 
i tossed a few of her packs away and she fliped out like it was money that i threw away i said im only tryin to save ya money and your health as well as mine but what did she do she went and picked 2 more packs up grrrr i dont care anymore im lettin her smoke away and i wont be going to her grave . she is killin herself and me as well . if i do get tested and its bad news i wanna see what she will do then .
