10th Aniv of Kurt Kobains Death

This is a thread for all my Gen Xers!!!!!!!!(those between 26-35). On this day in 1994, Kurt Cobian committed suicide He was the big voice of High School and College kids in the early-mid 90's who was fed up with politics and the music on the radio. He led the rise of Grunge rock which killed the popularity of Hair bands. I remember I put on my walk man during lunch after hard a$$ Algebra 2 class I heard about Kurts death.

Im 25 but was just as much in to Nirvanna as the next teen spirit fan! I was in Junior High when that song came out and was like yeah!! Punks commin back. Boy was I wrong but that guy was Gifted.

Exactly what I said today was: "Damn!! been that long!!??" how time just zapped on by man.....I couldn't believe it when I heard the dude blew his brains out. Btw, there's been speculation that Courtney Love had something to do with his death....something about a book that just came out about some dude ''close'' to them and yada yada yada....

Smells like teen spirit is da sh*t...one of a couple songs that I use at the gym for that extra push for getting psyched before a rep....

I remember the large number of suicides that was happening that year after Cobains death. It was wierd. He really spoke to most of the Gen X kids at the time.

She probly did have something to do dwit it, like sid and nancy, people think sid killed her and got away with it. I do to.
