I think 102.7 FM WNEW is really turning into what KTU used to be. Now they have Frankie Blue as their program director and Joe Causi has already left KTU to join him. Freddie Colon is there and RuPaul is a big fan of the station. I wonder if more DJs will leave KTU. 102.7 is now my fave station!

You can tell that KTU is feeling the heat because they played nothing but classics this weekend just like 102.7 did.

i think slowly but surely mix 1027 will change into a more dance station - I heard Silent Morning by Noel yesterday!
 
Maybe that's the plan..........to make 102.7 something like 103.5 but with a different boss. :rolleyes

Also, Frankie Cutlass and Dave the one Mendez will be DJ'ing on 102.7 next Saturday from 12mid-1am.

Yes, slowly but surely 102.7 is playing more freestyle. I heard "It Takes Two" by Seduction yesterday! Im really loving this station!

Yes, Joe causi has left KTU for 102.7. Goumba Johnny was hosting last night...although I thought he still referred to it as the Studio 54 Clubhouse. I wonder if he was just filling in or if they will make him the permanent host on Sunday nights.

i hope he is the new host on sundays.i met him at a grand opening of a store on 34st in manhattan a while back, he gave me safires last album. he's a really cool guy.

by the way what part of brooklyn are you from?
