My son is in kindergarten and has a 1/2 day tomorrow and Wednesday due to Parent/Teacher Conference. He thought that 1/2 day meant "no school". :lol

Anybody else has Parent/Teacher Conference?

I remember when 1/2 meant no school too :lol Shit I never bothered going 😛

I had Teacher/Parent Conference last night. My daughter (5th Grade) did excellent - she's on Honor's List. My son is doing good but could be better - his handwriting skills needs improvement (he's in Kindergarden).

Aww mama, how old is he? Mine is 5 and in kindergarten and he's reading and writing. The teacher guaranteed me in the beginning of the year that he would be doing this and she was true to her word. He's in an advance Kindergarten class and I'm proud of him.

So basically what I'm saying is sometimes it's the teacher. And then at home we have to find an interest that will hold their attention when it comes to education. So you may have to invest in certain books and activities but try. He's going at his own pace. As long as you're there to guide him, teach him and have the patience with him, he will get there. 🙂
