recorder

Could someone recommend a decent cd recorder under $500 for making mix cd's? I recently bought the Fostex CR500 Master recorder, but I don't think its capable of making one continous mix while still having tracks in it. There will a slight pause, even though ever so slight it ruins the whole...

dose anyone know how to fix the settings on a phillps cd4775 recorder ? i have no clue my db is set to low and some cds turn out to low :(

Do you currently use this or have you recorded on it before? What's your take on it?
