La Mega on 97.9 in NY

Hello everyone! Does anyone have a recoring of La Mega mixes on Sat nites that they can upload? Since Pulse is no longer in biz..I listen to Mega and they are really hopping with dance and freestyle music at least up until two or three a.m.! They get cooking around 12am and in case ur interested, its 97.9 in NY

Did they play new freestyle? Was it 90s-era "new School" or the old 80s classics?

It's a mixture...todays dance with just beats and some 80's old school but mostly a slammin' dance beat..I always catch it around 12am or 1am until three when im crusin'in my car.....

is the dance music with vocals or just beats?
i am surprised they play freestyle anymore?
back in the days from 1993 to about 1995 fridays nights they would play these freestyle mixes that were AMAZING....they were mixed by norty cotto and sometimes by rob razor and albert cabrera.....then they stopped...and went all spanish....

then they started playing freestyle again back in 2003-2004 but it was only between 12to1 afternoons mon to friday they would have a different freestyle dj every afternoon...stoped again went back to all spanish....

I use to listen to them back in days all the time fridays and saturday nights....i didnt even know they play dance music anymore on fridays and saturday nights.....

Oh yes...I think they starts sometime after 12...i am not sure exactly what time they start but I catch them after midnight..I think they play Spanish up until midnight and then they start mixing it up...I like the wayyyy better than ktu....were u able to listen this past weekend? Hey whatever happenend to Paco??

No i didnt even know they were playing dance music anymore...i will deffantly try to check them out this weekend...

as far as paco .....i havent heard anything about him in years....i wonder if hes still in radio....

If you can get an mp3 version of there weekend mixes please do share....

and what are you doing crusen the streets of the city and brooklyn at 3 am? looken to stop crime...or something?or out searchen for super man...LOLOL..with a name like wonder women.......LOL...😛😀

Hahahaha....yep stopping crime in the city...hahaha...actually I love crusing in the city late at night..I'm 42 now but sometimes I just love to get in the car ans cruise with the music pumping..I still go to Webster Hall but I love my music on sat nights...Were u able to listen to la mega? I always catch it after 12..I used to listen to pulse 87.7 and switch back and forth..but i have turned there about five nights on a sat/sun morn and I had my volume cranked up until 3am..now I have no idea what the djs' are saying..they speak espanol and I' m Black. Nevertheless the music is hot..well in my opinion..
