LEARN TO SPEAK ****IN ENGlish ALLREADY!! im really annoyed that people live here and they dont learn to speak english..without trying to sound racist..i deal with alot of customers at work.and alot of them dont speak!! what really pissed me off is the cloumbian lady who was speaking so fast i couldnt keep up with her because even though i understand spanish perfectly I speak slowly because im not fluent.I asked her if she spoke any english.she rolled her eyes and said what for?? yo hablo espano perfecto (why i speak spanish perfect) she then followed it up with asking me why doesnt my company hire representatives that spoke better spanish then i do?? you believe this bitch??

i get em all russuians polish indian name it and they come in and act offended that you cant understabnd them last time i checked most of us here speak read write ENGLISH!!!

another thing that pisses me off is the spanish clientle that think im gonna give them a better deal because be being spanish were automatically related in some way so they come in ask for "who speaky spanish"? and when they find out there gona pay the same as anyone else they break into complaint in perfect english!!! mother****er didnt you just tell me you dont speak english and you needed a spanish representative????


WHEN IN ROME!!! conform to your enviroment!! learn the langauge we dont have to learn yours!!! i was lost the other day and goddam if i didnt stop by three gas stations were not a one had someone who spoke english!!!!


I go to lunch and I have to say my order six seven times at the drive thru because the person taking my order sounds like they just got smuggled over the border yesterday and they cant understand im trying to order THE NUMBER FOUR GODDAMIT!!!

and when you pick it up they still got it wrong!!!

you know what...i actually think about this through an economic perspective and because both of my parents have been here for over 20 years and none speak english (which also bothers the heck out of me cuz im like damn u couldnt get it when u were 24?..but w/e)
ANYWAY...everythign here in our capitalist society is business...if every immigrant had to pass an english comprehension and speaking test to aquire a green card to stay here, then the competition for jobs would be greater and nore difficult. Think about who gets the dirty work and low paying jobs. And why is it? sometimes its not simply because they dont have the skills of a college graduate (cuz sometimes they are educated as far as high school), but its because they dont know the language to communicate. They need to do something , a behind the scenes job that includes doing something repetitive, skill less.
If everybody spoke english, everyone would have a chance at better jobs..and then who would do the dirty work?
 
omg u think u guys have it bad in America????? come see Canada... 3/4 dont speak perfect english here
 
Wow I got the same issues Portguese, Greeks and Italians are the worst in my opinion...my grandparents for one they've been here for 35 yrs and can't speak a word of english??? How does that work???
Yeah that whole thing about discounting yeah I get that too...that's why I just tell people I'm Canadian and I don't speak any other languages (I speak portuguese fluently and understand french, spanish and italian) that way I don't have to deal with them...as bad as it is it's real annoying and if I wanted to be a translator I'd be working for the government as an interpretor making a lot more coin than I do now
 
and the drivers test should only be in english since the road signs are
