Wounded Heart

How can you tell me we are just friends
How can you ask me to be close
When all the time I want more

Your words sometimes hurt me
Your actions confuse me
When will you see it has to end
My heart will always beat for you
No matter what you say

I saw you the other day
I wanted to kiss you hello
But all you did was wave
Not knowing it made me feel bad
Why do you do these things to me
And expect me to go on and be free

I guess the issue is resolved
This is the day that I have feared
To be alone without your love, my dear
