WLIR 92.7 FM Sold to theHispanic Broadcasting

The Long Island alternative station is sorry to be said but sold to Hispanic Broadcasters the owners of Latino Mix anmd 931 Amor for 62 Million so Party will have to stay at 105.3 FM But living in Wastern LI sucks cause i cant hear that great station ever since they stopped the webcasts. THe new owners are thinking about simulcasting Latino mix over it so it will reach all of long island.

I remember reading about this in the paper also a while ago.

they said they will keep the same format and simply change ownership.

i guess things have changed since i last heard that!

its a realy shame because not only has DRE played the old NEW WAVE/SYNTH-POP music but they played alot of trance. too bad theyre going.
