How is everyone?

Song im searching is mid 90s. It had an Angelina or Samantha sound.

Lyrics: Tu no sabes querer me hiciste sufrir tu no sabes querer JUST GOOOO.

heard it in 1997 on power 96 in FLA, the DJ told me it was MIMI or MEME, a female singer. Here I am 10 years later still trying to find this song.

The spanish may be off a bit, but thats the best I can remember.

Any help appreciated!

Could it possibly be Chrissy I-eece? "Take Your Love & Go"? It has those exact same lyrics but it sounds nothing like Angelina.

The beginning goes like this: "Tu amor es un periodico de ayer" which is borrowed from the salsa song, "Periodico De Ayer" written by Hector Lavoe. Here's a link:

http://www.salsacentro.com/hectorlavoe.htm

MIAMI,nuff said!
"Y para que leher, Un periodico de ayer"!

Its not Chrissy I-eecee.

If my memory serves me right check under

Incorporated "Just Go"

If not check also under Torres Brothers , also responsible for "Release your body" and "Feel the vibe (music xtacy baby it isnt a fantasy...."

and anything with NADINE RENEE,who did vocals for over most of the triphop freestyle records coming out of Miami.

others you may wantto get but maybe hard to find:

Teena renee "Do You wana play"
Planet Soul "Look Into My eyes"
Fever express feat Elise soto "Fever (its the new style)(feel the Fever makes me sweat, feel the fever makes me..."
World Wide Message Tribe "Real thing" (Lift me up, Into a higher place)
Subconcious "Feeling"
Doug lazy "come on and Move it"
Becka "How Long"
DJ Company "Rhythm Of Love"
DJ BOOM feat nadine renee "To the Top"
Acid factor "you are my fantasy"
Samantha (aka fiori) "Love and Life" "Craving Your Love"

Thes are the more underground TRIPHOP/FREESTYLE records coming out of or dominating Miami's triphop/neo-freestyle scene at that time, aside from the Planet Soul, Mona Q and Torres brothers flood of Miami/Florida or the Angelina Lina Santiago flood coming from Cali. Unfortunatley alot of the vocalist never really got the credit or they were "ashamed to even be called "freestyle" and others who were proud to e part of the new wave of Freestyle were rejected by the "THATS NOT FREESTYLE!" mentality that the freestyle community had at that time.(unfortunatley some still do have that menatlity and wonder why they are still stuck in 1992).

We pretty much still keep it alive as much as the 80's stuff, and we beyond still call it what it is FREESTYLE.We also still embrace and support that scene today. The Neo-freestyle scene & movement. )(Took some Freestyle artist a decade to start messing with new sounds and catch up).

Sorry bro. I totally forgot to get back to you on this one. Well, I meant to reply to you a lot sooner on this one because right of the bat the song that came to mind was JEME's "Let Me Go", but since I don't think that song has any Spanish lyrics in it, I stumbled and meant to get with a source I have out of Florida. I just emailed that source, so just give me another few days and hopefully he will have the answer for us.

Thanks to all the responses, I will defintaly have to check out "incorporated - Just go" although i dont think its going to be very easy haha... some of these other songs mentioned were just really impressive i.e. Mona Q, Torres Brothers, ACID FACTOR, ... George Accosta's Fever etc etc simply amazing someone else there remembers these, & I am sure many are hard to find, luckily I have most of them. There were a view listed i will still certainly need to take some time and look into & thanks for all the responses
steve

Electro music(current) , being played on all the "Party/Energy" stations (i.e. Fedde Le grand, Dave Spoon) sure sounds a hell of a lot like the Miami TripHop sound of the 90s. At the very least they both used that same deep undertone sound ...... Just listen to Angelina-Release release me VS Fedde Le Grand - Let me think about it ...... I am no trip-hop expert, but I can find the similiarties again and again. Anyone else notice this. Never made this connection till just now
