Who Is Lawtown?!?!?!

All I have been hearing is negative things about Lawtown music. I myself have sent a package with autographed photos, CD's and press kits to them and at the same time to other reviewers. Everybody got the kits but Lawtown claims that they didn't get mine. This is thier address:

I get e-mail newsletters from Lawtown. In fact, I just got one promoting a fundraiser in Massachussetts starring Jordan Knight, Jade Starling (Pretty Poison), Gioia Bruno, and Johnny O. Also, they did the SaFire contest and I won an autographed pic her, which they mailed to me about a day later. As to whether they are legit or not, I have no idea.

All I can say is...

That all I have heard is nothing but negative things about them. I too get their newsletter which I never requested which might I add is considered spam! Yeah, I should report them, yeah I know I can be a dick when I have to! But someone should regulate and state who is a legitimate company like Billboard etc. etc. Everybody wants to dictate what's hot and what's not. I think the radio stations and record sales can tell us that. If not just check with sound scan and they can give you all the information on what's hot and what's not. I just hope I don't come face to face with 'lawtown' cause I will teach them a thing or two about law.
