Who is Gigi D' Augostino?!

I found a couple of his cd's in techno shelves one time but im hearing that one of his released singles is considered freestyle. Does his album contain the Lamour Te jours the version that appears on Freestyle Frenzy vol. 5? Or is the version on freestyle frenzy5 one of the maxi single versions? Is he really freestyle? Is his album worth getting? Tell me more about 'em. Any and all information would be greatly appreciated.

some people in the industry in canada believe that L'AMOUR TOUJOUR is freestyle.......
i personally dont think so and my guess many would agree with me........hes a vocal trance artist.........i personally dont like the artist.......so i dont know more about him than this right now.........sorryl

Definatley a hot album. I have the import version of the cd. It's the same thing except it is a double cd and has more songs on it. I got it before it was mass produced in the US. I wouldn't consider it freestyle at all. It is a mix between eurodance and trance. The songs are catchy, kinda like Fragma's album.

True, true but why is it then on a freestyle compilation cd? Is it a freestyle remix version of Lamour Te Jour?

Italy's Gigi D'Agostino is mostly known for italian dance pop and techno. However he has had two singles with breakbeat/freestyle remixes, the first one from last year, "La Passion" and the most recent one "L'amour Toujours (I'll Fly With You)" which has been a huge hit in many countries in Europe and in Canada.


The original version of the song L'amour Toujours (I'll Fly with you) is definitely a dance song. However the remixes on the 12" and cd single include freestyle, electro and breakbeat mixes. The version on Freestyle Frenzy vol. 5 and Freestyle Vibes compilations are edits included on the maxi cd. "L'amour Toujours (I'll fly with you)" just broke the top 30 in Canada this week!
