Hey, just curious....Who up in here has freestyle vinyl.....I always see talk about mp3's and CD's. Is the word VINYL in anyone's freestyle dictionary?? I know I'm not the only one. So, who are the other vinyl lovers out there?? 😛

I hear ya Ekin.....I know for alot of people it's easier and practically free to compile MP3's.....or CD compilations. Too bad vinyl has lost it's public popularity. On the other hand, those who do own nice collections appreciate it even more so. Remember people, most of the MP3's ya got are from vinyl.....not CD's or magic!! LOL 😛

I HAVE A VERY LARGE COLLECTION.

DO YOU KNOW ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING OLD RAP VINYL? I WANNA GET RID OF SOME OF MINE.

You and me both!! LOL....I just sold a bunch of old rap on ebay...I did the same with my disco and newer club. I'm narrowing it down to just freestyle and the late 80's club/house stuff....like two in a room...two without hats....royal house...stevie V (money talks and jealousy).....49ers (touch me)....c & c music factory....jomanda...daisy dee....That stuff is great too. It blended in with freestyle so well back then. While it isn't freestyle, I see it as a close brother!! I just had too much......too much that I didn't even think about...it was just sitting there....I'm not done quite yet...maybe in a few months I'll have gotten rid of all the other stuff......😛

I have about 100 or so 12"s

I am not an avid collector. Most are from my teenage years when Freestyle was the sh*t & 12" records were $5 😀

I'm extremely proud of my freestyle vinyl collection. After all vinyl is the only thing of true value for a music collector. I have over 5000 12 inch singles and 95% is freestyle. I've been collecting since i was 12 years old and when it was on the dj charts. I wouldn't sell it for the world.

I'm right there with you guys ... I have an extensive Vinyl collection that I'd NEVER get rid of !!! It's mainly freestyle with some 80s and early 90s dance/club mixed in -- nothing can EVER replace it !!!

Orgntr1 -- let me know WHAT you're selling ? I still collect, and I have lots of RARE pieces as well, always lookin for more !

U used to DJ up to around early 1999 so I have tons of old school & newer school Freestyle Vinyls that reaches well into the 300s easily (though I've never actually counted & we're talking JUST freestyle records here)! The crap is I sold my tables & now I can't even listen to them! 😡 I need to get my hands on a plato UknowhutI'msayin'?

I have about 300 records Anthony, and still collecting. Alot of freestyle records become worth a lot of money in time, it is a good idea to keep the rare ones.

ANTHONY I TOTALY AGREE WITH YOU 100 %. ALTHOUGH I AM NOT INTO E-BAY. I AM SICK OF RAP I REALLY HATE IT SO I'M LOOKING TO GET RID OF IT ALL. EXCEPT FOR LIKE ERIC B. AND RAKIM, BIZ MARKIE, PUBLIC ENEMY YOU KNOW THE KLASSICKS.

I BELIEVE YOU WERE REFURING TO HIP HOUSE AS THE BROTHER OF FREESTYLE LIKE DOUG LAZY RIGHT?

Yeah...hip house, such as Doug Lazy, is great sh**....hip hop is just sh** as far as I'm concerned...it's a bunch of wanna be crap! 😛

Anthony thats an IGNORANT statement tomake...........FREESTYLE GOT HIP HOP ROOTS dont u know that?🙄

Ignorant how?? Can't anyone have an opinion anymore...geez!! Anyway, sure it's got roots in hip hop, as well as many other places. Just cause it has roots in a certain type of music, I can't dislike it greatly?? I can't stand hip hop and that's that. Some people can't stand country, or rock or freestyle!! It's their opinion, no?? Maybe I should've specified more...I really meant the newer hip hop, not the old school. Gansta rap, fopr example, makes me sick...ok?? 🙂

JUST CALL ME: VINYL FREAK..

AND KEN, I'LL LET YOU KNOW BRO..

LATERSSS,
daBigM..
