White Noise

For those that don't know, the new movie "White Noise" is about a topic I have been studying since Jr, High.
It's a about "E.V.P." (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), where you may be alone in a room or cemetery, no one talking, & you have your tape recorder recording.
Next thing you know,
you play back the tape,
& there is a voice, (or voices) talking, in which you could not hear with your "naked" ear.
(Just thinking about it gives me goosebumps!)

It's kinda creepy, but it's real.
Some see it as a way for the dead to communicate with us, (or vice versa), while others just think it's a big bluff.
Aside from myself, I also know of others close to me who have experienced similar things, ...usually on accident. (So i'm a beleiver).

What do you guys think of this?
& Will you go see the movie?

Well you asked for my opinion and I say it's all a big bluff. I bug out with my girl-friend about this movie cause I say "white noise" in a stupid british way and she cracks up :lol When I saw your thread I bursted in laughter because she tells me over the phone or when we together "say white noise!"

The movie looks really good. Unfortunately it's all boloney about it being a fact. There is no proof-positive. 😀

I do believe in UFO's but not ghosts revealing themselves etc. I do believe in ghosts/spirits I don't know why. I know that numerous times I been watched..I always feel something. Weird. But I dont believe in actual evidence of them being seen, or heard.

About the ghosts, well, ...I guess you just have to see & hear them to beleive it. That's understandable. maybe someday you'll experience it.

I myself am a skeptic & like proof. I don't beleive "all" stories or events are true in the "ghost phenomenon", but I have had my share of experiences.
& So have most of my family & friends. Therefor I beleive.

They give alot of cable documentaries...so that is why i don't believe in the capture of ghosts on video/tape etc 😀

White Noise does look scary.

The reason why I dont believe much is because there isnt any solid evidence. On cable on History channel they showed so much stuff about ghosts and it all looked set up and made with computer effects. Alot has to do with camera lighting flaws which gives the impression of a flying orb.

Yea, they do show lots of documentaries & sh*t, mostly around Halloween time, but those are usually re-inacted. They're not the 'real-deal'.
Kinda like "Unsolved Mysteries" Ghosts Episodes. (which by the way are now available on a DVD 4-disc box set). You may be able to rent them at Blockbuster. 🙂

Many ghostly phenomenon don't have solid proof because these things usually happen unexpectedly & on rare occasions. Usually people are home alone, cleaning their house, relaxed watching tv, co-workers locking up, or something like that, so it's not like they're gonna have a camera & recorder ready to capture it. U just honestly never know when they're gonna happen.

Sometimes these Paranormal investigators (Parapsychologists) go to a location that is known for such activity, & wait for hours, .....& nothing happens. You can't force these things to happen, they just kinda happen on their own.

(Ugh, I wish I was able to post that huge thing I had wrote around halloween time that got lost after I posted it on CF) - (remember Krystal?? - lol)

But i'm definately gonna see this movie. 🙂

You got that right.

My friends and I placed ourselves in situations (nothing dangerous) trying to see "freaky stuff" and it never worked.

But in completely different circumstances, freaky stuff found us, and we still talk about it to each other.

I think there is something to the paranormal, and "white noise" experiences.
