I think Jennifer Lopez would do a kick ass freestyle album if she decided to. I think she is the best candidate and also I like Amber I think she could do a great freestyle song as well. It would be cool if J.Lo and Marc Anthony did a freestyle song together since they seem to like working together and they both grew up in the time when freestyle was hot so we kow that they both know thier shit.
Madonna would be a great candidate her fan base has always been in dance and she has never lost her dance floor credibility which is one thing I respect about Madonna.
Veronica would do a great album her vocals are mad tight but she is more of an R&B artist. I don't think she wanted to be typecast as just another latina dance artist, I belive I remember her saying that.
Mariah used to sing freestyle when she backed up Brenda K. Starr but I dont' think that is Mariah's thing. She is more pop/r&b.
You know what though, funk that I think Michelle Visage and Judy Torres should cut a single together. 🙂
 
Jennifer Lopez had her chance to record a Freestyle song and she blew it... "If you had my love" had all the potential to be a freestyle song. It had the typical chord progressions of a classic freestyle song, but she decided to take it in another direction, and it ended up as a dance/R&B tune... i personally don't think she'll ever go Freestyle. Sure she can always have a freestyle-like remix of one of her songs, but a real Freestyle artist is one who records a freestyle song, and not one who has a 'Freestyle' remix of one of their songs...
