Hi Bellaregazza,
Yes I'm still around, thanks for asking.
I've been very busy this year, so many things going on that I try to focus. Jacks right, I teamed up with Angel whose known for throwing those off the hook Freestyle Parties at Club Blis. Along with two of our friends in California Ray Soto, who has been a part of Stylin' Free since 1995 and Cisco Ortega who we all met a while ago. It was suggested to me by Safire (Angel's sister) that him and I try to do something together. Come to find out that Angel actually lived walking distance from my house. We hooked up sometime last years and the relationship began by him Booking the acts for his shows through my Booking Agency La' Entertainment (www.La-Entertainment.com). I hook him and my partner Ray Soto in Cali up to do some Promotions together. Ray in turn had met Cisco Ortega and those three did a couple of nights in Cali where one of them they Booked Lil' Suzy, whom I flew out with. There I got to see first hand on how these three were operating and I was impressed and saw so much potential. They must've read my mind when Angel asked me to get involved somehow aside from just bookings. At the same time I've had this idea of conducting a Nationwide Talent hunt due to the fact that I've been having a hard time finding decent material to put out on Stylin' Free/Metropolitan. The guys loved the idea, so I started to put it together on paper to see if it was doable. It was and here we are. We all decided to come under the name Stylin' Free Productions since it was a name that I have been slowly trying to build over the years. As of now we have 4 clubs that we are promoting under Stylin' Free (Club Blis, NY / FM, NY starting in Oct. Poly-Esters, CA / and Octain, CA) Sept 1st 2002, come join us at Blis where we will have performing ROB BASE & DJ EZ ROCK as well as new comer TROY S.L.U.G.S. and our very own TY BLESS.
