The most romantic thing I ever did for a female~ well, i thought it was romantic... I was with Kim for 2 years and it was my FIRST love. I had taken her to this pond where there are always swans and ducks swiming around. There is this little gazebo that you can walk to in the middle of the pond by stepping from stone to stone... Well, we went there on a saturday afternoon, and we had a picnic in the gazebo where we could watch the swans and feed them bread and stuff.

She didn't know my intentions. I had planned on asking her to marry me that day. Now let me remind you, there are people walking around and couples chilling. I wanted to proclaim my love to her in front of the world if I could. We had walked up to this huge rock on the edge of the pond, high enough where We could see everything. I had tripped on the way up and she called me clumsy. I asked her if she could see herself with a clumsy guy like myself for the rest of her life. And she was like, "huh?", and I bended to one knee...

"Will you be my wife?"

Her response was...

Well, I am single.

HMMMM... I TOOK MY BABY AWAY FOR THE WEEKEND TO MIAMI. THERE WE HAD A ROMANTIC DINNER ON LINCOLN RD. WE TOOK THE LONGEST WALK ALONG THE SANDS OF MIAMI IN THE NIGHT, THE MOON WAS FULL AND THE SKIES WHERE CLEAR, FROM THERE WE COULD SEE EVERY STAR THAT THE UNIVERSE AND THE HEAVENS UP ABOVE HAD TO OFFER. FROM THERE WE WENT DANCING, HAD SPARKLING WINE AND EMBRACED EACHOTHER WITH SUCH CARING LOVE. FROM THERE WE WENT TO THE DELANO (A SPECIFIC HOTEL IN MIAMI) AND THERE I HAD ALL THE LIGHTS OFF WITH NOTHING BUT PERFUMED SCENTED CANDLES AND ROSE PEDALS ALL OVER THE BED AND FLOORS. FROM THERE MAD SWEET SWEET LOVE UNTIL THE MORNING LIGHT AND HAD BREAKFAST IN BED!!! AHH... THAT WAS THE BEST VALENTINE'S DAY I EVER HAD!!! THOSE WERE GOOD MEMORIES!!! THERE WAS MORE TO THAT STORY BUT WE HAVE THE YOUNG ONES VISITING THE SITE NOW!! I HAD TO KEEP IT PG-13!!LOL

Hey Tania...... its me Tania.....hehe... well i must say that the nicest thing my ex did for me on Valentines was give me a big T.V (it didnt even fit in my entertainment center)LOL!! But yeah it was very nice of him.. i wasnt gonna except it.. but after all the crap he put me through.. it was the least he coulda done. 🙂

We all were unappreciative at one time. In my case, i was unappreciative all the times i can remember. That's why we got to stick together.

Anthony~Nice story. I think It was alittle to late to be PG-13. That was more like a rated R. That was very romantic of you. You don't see much romantic guys around.Your story was like a movie scene and i was all into it and everything.
If it was that romantic and memoriable, why aren't you still with her?

Anthony~~~Me and you both! In my case, we broke up in bad terms pretty much but he still calls me. He wants to work things out! I don't! He has the nerve to want to do something about the relationship now after 3 1/2 years! What happened before?! Was he handicaped! I don't think so. He's in the Army now. Its better off that way. I knew it wasn't meant to be but it took me a while to realize it!

It's always good to break up in good terms. I don't know how you can handle it!

Seriously-
My ex and I had a huge fight. I didn't want to see him anymore. He would come around my house calling my name out and screaming "I'm Sorry!" I would just be inside my house on the couch in my living room. He stood outside from about 11am to almost midnight calling me. I would peek outside to see what he be doing and he took chalk and wrote things like "I Love You, Tania" "I Miss You" "I'm Sorry" "Please Forgive Me" big as hell on the sidewalk and some on my porch. I thought that was cute and sweet. He would have a flashlight and point it at my window and i just lay in my couch looking at the flashlight's reflecting on my ceiling. I didn't forgive him cause the reason why he was saying sorry is cause I had caught him kissing another girl the night before. The reason why I say its romantic is that he went through a lot trying to catch my attention. He did but he still doesnt know that. I like to keep it that way.

Yrs ago my high school sweatheart went away for a weekend for some school thing. I didn't have a lot of money so I made my b/f a double layered heart shaped cake, a poem, and a list of all the reasons why I loved him.

He took the cake and said thanks then called me when he got home to tell me he cheated on me.

Ooops, I forgot to say the occasion was Sweetest Day,...I got nothing in return.

I was trying to remember a story so I could share but I have dated such losers that I was having a hard time coming up with one!! Till I read Martini's post. My boyfriend would call me up and record various songs on my voice mail. They weren't my favourite songs per se, but they were Arabic songs which are kinda like freestyle in the sense that they are about love. Anyways, he would record a different one for me each time, and each one would be about him missing me or falling in love with me or how beautiful I was, stuff like that. There was one song he left that I had never heard before and now it's one of my absolute favourites. We were never really serious it lasted only about a month, but overall I would have to say he was the most romantic guy I ever dated. And boy did he know how to sweet talk. I knew it was all bs, but I liked it anyways because he said it so well!!😎
