hey I would have done all that too, had those albums been sold in Canada! 😡

well anyway, my 1st freestyle album actually was freestyle heaven vol 2 (from Tony Monaco). 🙂

Johnny O's first album (MicMac) and to this day my favourite of all.

Hey TranMan I'm sorry you were young and missed the time when you could buy a lot of Freestyle in T.O. Music stores were filled with Metropolitan, MicMac, TommyBoys, Tazmainia.............and so many more good stuff including original albums from the artists. Tony Monaco is alright but he has a certain obsession with some artists and sometimes he mixes-up dance with Freestyle music which frustrates the hell out of me. By the way are you from the "Indian Resort" (Finch-VicPark) in T.O.???

first albums

This is really stretching my memory, but i know for a fact it was either Cynthia II or the Louder Than Love album by TKA.....this was back in 90-91 and I was 13 at the time.

first set of freestyle records i got aucally i got it as i gift tommy 2 tuff-why cant you see but i only got it as a gift because of the house mix and i finally found out late last year it was freestyle and really rare i traded my extra away........but offically when i knew what i was buyin i got legacy-girls do it just for fun and others that day..i didnt want them i wasnt into freestyle i was a house man but my sister made me...lol..and that was in aroud 94 and i never got no more freestyle records ever untill hardhouse died and i needed a new music form and i was like what the hell so my luck in 2000 dj naw-t-boy was sellin his records so i bought a few hundreds bucks worth off him..........

As for ME....

...I had a massive collection of 12" Freestyle records for the longest time. My 1st full length freestyle album would've had to be Cynthia (her 1st album) on vinyl. Sadly, I don't have it anymore. Lent it to my cuzin & never saw it again....😡

1st audio CASSETTE album was Metropolitan Freestyle Extravaganza Vol. 1 (which I still own by the way...never upgraded to CD on this album).

1st single?!?!? Couldn't tell ya, it was TOO long ago!

This was so long ago lol. THe first album I bought was Cover Girls Show Me, the first single I believe was Sandee Notice Me, the first cassette was Safire and the first cd was Cynthia. It was great back then! :safire :cynthia

1st Freestyle

EVEN THOUGH I LISTENED TO FREESTYLE ON THE RADIO I HADN'T PURCHASED ANY ALBUMS, BEING THAT I WAS A TEENAGER W/NO JOB, THEREFORE NO MONEY..
BUT THE FIRST ALBUM I ACTUALLY DID BEG FOR ALLOWANCE MONEY TO BUY WAS INDEED, TKA "SCARS OF LOVE" THE DAY AFTER I MET THEM...

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO DON'T KNOW THE STORY, ALTHOUGH I KNEW THERE WAS A GROUP CALLED TKA AND I LIKED THEIR SONGS, I DIDN'T KNOW WHO "THEY ACTUALLY WERE", MEANING I DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO MATCH THE FACES W/THE NAME TKA..I SAW THEM THROUGHOUT AN ENTIRE DAY W/OUT A CLUE, UNTIL I WALKED IN LATE TO FRONT ROW ON THEIR PERFORMANCE!(THE OPENING ACT)
THAT WAS AN EMBARRASING MOMENT! I'LL NEVER FORGET!

Other than Shannon's "Let the Music Play" album, my second would be my fav dance CD of all time Expose's "Exposure"

"Together Forever" 12" cd single (Lisette Melendez). i played it more than hot97 did back in the day! the long version, the edit, and i used to blast the instrumental!

before Cynthia, i used to sweat Lisette HARD!!! she's still a hottie! we need a little Lisette icon!
