Do your children have for there grandparents and what nick names do yuor kids have or you yourself perhaps were given growing up that till this day has stuck with you/them?

THis weekend we went to see my Grandmother at the Nursing home she is in and last time my son saw her he was about 8 months old and she knew who he was he is 19months now so he deff wouldnt have remembered her nd she no longer really knwos who is who so I said to my son this is my grandma and pointed to my mom and said thats yuor grandma give my granma a kiss so he goes mima and kissed my grandm on her forehead and from that moment on he has been calling my Mother mima as well as my grandmother lol and we think its so cute cause its unique mima since he cant say grandma it comes out as mima lol jsut like he calls barney nani lol. We call him Tavi schnookie and Rythm.
 
Well, I have no kids, but I remember when I was a kid, I called my grandparents Nana and Papa. When I got older, Nana became "Gram" and Papa became "Pop".
 
Well I have always called my grandmother mami and my mom was always ma, so when my kids started talking they pick up ma for my mom and mami for me.
 
Funny you should say that .... I always wonder what I should have my niece call me ...

I just don't feel the TITI or AUNT deal.... I want something .... different
 
Well I called my gramdmother "abuelita" and my grandfather "abuelito"...no I call my grandfather "grandpa"

When I was younger they used to call me "Ya", "Yahi", "Yari", "Yazz", "Jay", "Ya-Ya", "Yahairi", "Yahairita", and when my moms got mad at me it was "Burgos"...Those names have stuck to me till this day!
 
heaven I wanted my son to call my sister soemthing different instead of titi so he calls her Tita lol He calls he ror so he thinks on the phoen and has conversatiosn with ehr and you knwo who he is talking bout cause he says hi tita lol

Diane my son too he started calling my mom Ma and me Mami but now he calls her Mima or Ma and my moms boyfriend is papa my brother and sisters boyfriend are T or Tio lol

Lets see....when I was younger I called my grandmother "white wella" and my great grandmother "brown wella"...it's funny because my great grandparents had 3 daughters who were light skinned like their father, and four sons who were dark skinned like their mother..my mom's middle name is Victoria, so she was "Victor/Victoria" LOL...my aunt Brenda was known as "skinny bone" before she had her two kids lol...now she's just "Princess Diana" LOL...my aunt Irma was "Jabba The Hut".....Brenda used to call me "bat", then when I started to wear glasses I became "Poindexter"....NOT CUTE.....grandma used to call me "little rascal", but know to her and my great grandma I'm "torito"....with mom I went from "butterball" to "crazy boy".....I wonder why...
 
Well to say grandma in Portuguese it's Avo but I call her vavo (I don't know why lol) and grandpa Avu but I call him vavu (again don't know why) and my great aunt (who is like a grandma to me) her name is Filomena but as a child I couldn't say that so I call her tia mena and still do 22 yrs later everyone thinks it's funny cuz my brother calls her that too and he's 18 lol 😛

As for me my name is Sonya-Daniella but everyone calls me Sonia but my vavo calls me Daniella cuz she says she don't like Sonya or Sonia LMFAOOOOO 😛
 
hmmmm lets see my kids call me ma or mami they call MY mom abuela or abuelita they call my ex-husbands mom Grandma and her husband grandpa and his dad abuelo II. my daughters grandmother is tata and her husband is tato Joe, her grandfather is guelo Jorgie and his wife is guela Iris hmmm who else is there.........damn I can't think now
 
my kids call my mom "quelita" or "ATA" ata is short for quelita..lol damn lazy kids..lol
my older one calls me MA or MAMI, my little one calls me MOMMY. my sister calls me "I" which is short for my middle name, and my mom calls me MUñI which is short for Muñeca. Martin calls me "Nena" or when he is mad he calls me "NYASIA"!..LMAOO!
