I am watching an old Version of BRAM STOKER'S "DRACULA" I want to know if the fact that these movies were made back then, why weren't they as visual or gory as the ones now are? was it because of the studio's or the director or society? I mean does this mean that we as society have becoming more blood thirsty in this century? or did the studio people loosen up the knot in the panties and opened up to bigger possibilities?

Question, can you tell me what was the first Vampire movie that really got gory? and who you think made the best Vampire, then and now?

We talking about the same Dracula here???

Panties? Wha? Na for real!

I think they had to keep topping and sensationalising the movies. I mean look at the news they are like whew!!! It looks like that hurricane is gonna miss us. So we all sit at home and go damn that was close, just as the ass, I mean newsguy says but we are often wrong and it looks like we may be again!

Did you know that Dracula wasn't really a vampire? That he was based on a real person!!

My daughter had to do a research paper on Dracula and she was so amazed .... btw she got a 100 on that paper.

Yes that is true. His name was Vlad, he was turkish. I also had to do a paper once for my Social Studies class. It was on the Holy Crusades, which is where i first learned of the leader of the turkish army "VLAD" awesome that she got 100!😉 I got an A+ 😉

So wuts the deal...how did he become linked to wut we think of as Vampires???

wasnt it "vald the impaler" who got that name for impaling his eneimies on a long stake?

well you see the story goes like this. after he would capture his "enemies" he would impale them and leave them there to die. The name "DRACUL" means "IMpaler" hence the name Vlad the IMPALER or as we came to know him Vladimir DRACUL/DRACULA.
