Last night i saw..India performing here in Chicago at the Puertorican
festivities...and i just have to say she was Absolutely phenomenal!
everytime i see her she is just outrageous..and last night was not an
exception.. She performs with so much heart and soul..so much grace
& dignity...w/the most amazing Talent of her Beautiful vocals...over-
powering the entire park! She gave the best of herself & just graced
the stage as the Diva she is!

India, along with K7, Marc Anthony, George LaMond, Angel Ramirez,
Victor Manuelle..are a few of the Artist friends, that i just get so
Amazed &overwhelmed watching on Stage..time after time..even
if i've seen the show a million times, i still get overwhelmed when
they perform...

What artist(s) overwhelms you or amazes you when they perform?
 
I know he is not freestyle but...Prince!!! He is the man!!! His show in the Meadowlands was incredible!!!

Sometimes I hate her guts because she can sing better than me lol. Just kidding, the girl can sing.
 
you know who was amazing i went to her here in union city back in the day. at a modeling show.

1984. the lady who sang High energy. your love is lifting me. lifting meeeeeee highhhhhhhh. i saw her in person. that was something. and also saw laura branagan. gloria. thats wasnt bad.

Well his show was full of his hits...although I admit I am not too fond of some of his songs once he went into his SLAVE issues and when he changed his name to the symbol...but now he is coming back around...his latest CD is okay...but just to see him perform...OMG...I may sound like a freak but I think he is sexy! :drool WOO HOO!!!

Oh yeah that is right....yeah he does mostly older hit songs at his shows....and its good and all but also bad in a way. The reason why is because he isn't coming out with new good material and I am shocked at him because before he's never lost the talent for doing that you know?

OMG! I love that song! Finally, you are talking about something I can relate to. I love the way she sings that song, she has such a strong voice. That is interesting you've seen her because I never seen what she looks like. And the way the song ends, it ends with a bang. For those of you who've heard the song before, ya'll know what I'm talking about.
 
Wow...prince..is awesome..ive never seen him perform..but
always wanted to..him & madonna..are probly two performers
i never saw but would have loved too..

carlitos...ive never seen brenda perform..seen her many times
at venues..but just never got to see her shows...luckily i will
be seeing her next week..and watching her perform..😉
 
something you can relate too.? means i gotta go back to what i was saying llol.

yes. it was a feburary night or maybe may whows knows. i remmeber it well. and in those days everybody knew everybody here we were all cuban. and modeling was huge here. and couples were huge too. everybody in union city knew who were the latest couples. cuase since eevrybody was cuban everybody knew everybodies family so etc etc,.

and that lady came out on stage after was one of the longest boooringest modeling shows ive sceen. and i saw many. it was the modeling world series of 84. all the high schools in hudson get together for world series. anyway hoboken since it has the uggliest girls comes out first always lllloll. then memorial. in those days emerson and union hill had the fine chicks. bel it or not. so they came out toards the end.

and of course north bergen then us st joes. cuase we were G Q country lol. only plastic cuban and itlalian girls got admited into that schoool lllloll. in those days .

god only knows whats in that school today. after like 5 hours.

that lady came out. still dont know her name.

and she said who is the finest and hottest couple in union city llol. and everybody knew who it was. i dont know some freeking refs just came in from cuba from emerson were it. and she called them up.

we didnt know why she was doing all this but we were half asleep from the most boooringist modeling show i have ever sceen. the hole place was half asleep.

and she called them up. and started talking to them. and and she said to them. you gotta have hope. and were like huh? you gotta have love? and we were like. and she was there saying all the things you gotta have for like 20 minutes. whats this black lady talking about lol.

and we were like holly crap this is the most boooringist thing weve ever been too.

then the next thing she said is you gottta have

highhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

energy. gy gy gy

yo everybody woke up! llol.

and she said your loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeee is lifitng meeeeeee. i thought the roooof was goona come down on my head. people were scared. cuase it was so loud.

ese lugar exploded. ill never forget it. everybody woke up of course. the couple evacuated the stage.running from that lady cuase it was so loud llloll !!

i could nt hear anything.except her yelling high energy lllol.

everybody was clapping to the beat of the song truely awsome.

park theater experience.

she had to sing it twice cuase no body would let her leave.


she never came back again though llol.
