I'M NEW TO THIS SITE THAT BY THE WAY IS A COOL PLACE TO CK OUT WHAT IS GOING ON W/FREESTYLE.....HERE IN CALI NO RADIO STATION PLAYS THIS TYPE OF MUSIC ANY MORE...BUT I NOTICED THAT HARDLY ANYONE TALKS ABOUT
SAFIRE...WHY?? IS SHE NOT CONSIDERED PART OF THE ACTS THAT MADE FREESTYLE OUTSIDE NY FAMOUS???? I REMEMBER AND I STILL HAVE ON VHS THAT THIME WHEN SE CAME OUT ON SOUL TRAIN.....HERE IN L.A. SHE WAS MORE KNOW THAT COVER GIRLS, OR SWEET SENSATION....

Safire is still around and kicking strong. she recently released "bringing back the groove" a compilation of her hits with a updated sound. included were 3 new songs, one song was a duet with cynthia that received airplay in new york, chicago, san antonio, seattle,etc.... check out her website at www.globeentonline.com.

Safire is very much Considered one of the Pioneers of freestyle. And as much as she hates being labeled a "Queen" of Freetsyle or a "Diva" she is all that and more. We talk about Safire when we mention "Legends of Freestyle" cause to me she is that a legend, unlike some of the other ones that are constantly mentioned and called legends.

Anyway Beto, hope you enjoy your stay here on CF, it can be a little overwhelming at times but it's all love😉

We all love her and she is talked about here, maybe you just missed all the threads, lol....

She took the time to stop into the chat & my live mix show Saturday 8/10 to show her support.(by the way, thank you sooo much)

She is a very busy woman, performing everywhere.

Her album is the bomb and is a must have!!!!!!

Sad that she is retiring from Freestyle, so all should support and see her perform before this year is over. She informed me that she is working very hard on a new routine for her live shows.
SO ONCE AGAIN, LETS SUPPORT !!!!!!!!

On that note, I look forward to hearing her new material and will support 100%.
