I was able to download this song , and finally heard it fully for the first time. It truly is a great song. Almost brought a tear to my eye. Does anyone know if and where i could get a copy of this song?
 
Yes... that is a SOLID song... i love it.. its one of my favourites....

this is freestyle volume 3 cd from canada....its a hard to find cd...i seen it appear on ebay a few times....
 
but dont forget, there are like 6 different versions of the song. my favorite isnt on the "canada" release. thats more of a slower version to one i prefer!! when i first got the 12" from my partner at his store, i was like "WOW!!" but it kind of reminded me of the "BAND AID" thing from the 80's and the "IN LIVING COLOR" sketch where they are being mocked cause they did a song and needed money. if ya get the 12", youll get a picture of JUDY TORRES (DAM SHE LOOKED GOOD!!) BRENDA K STARR, CORO, TONY MORAN, CYNTHIA, GEORGE LAMOND & JOEY KIDD. the one on the "FEVER FLASHBACKS" is mixxe in, not a "single" track.
 
The song is cool...judy kicked buttocks, cynthia too, sh*t everyone did a good job on the song....wasnt it ever released? i dont remember seeing it...oh well, peaceouttie!!
 
i have the casette single and on the back it said's from the forthcoming "legends of style" compilation lp...i wonder what happend to that??
i remember the song was big on power 96, but the morning show would make fun of it, calling it the "we are the world of freestyle" song LoL

Or Went To Another Market? " Ahhh Man People Are So Funny Sometimes. And This Song Was And Is Off The hook...But It Could Have Been Better. It Was Released On CRIMINAL Records If Im Not Mistaken...Why The Hell That Label And Not Metro Or Something Bigger? And Who The Hell Is Brenda K Starr To Be Singin About Freestyle When She Was Nowhere Near Freestyle. They should Have Put In LISETTE MELENDEZ,Sa-Fire,& Nayobe....*Shakin Head*
 
hey elear your forgetting the brenda k starr classic "picking up the pieces" which was featured on tommy/timbers freestyle greatest beats vol 8. she also had a song on the tony moran compilation the concept of one called "so in love", and another on the mic mac reunion cd called "come back to me" which was slamming! plus on her first album she had "over & over" which pajama party remade and a few others, which were poppy-freestyle.....

I REMEMBER AT CLUB EXIT WHEN KTU THREW THERE FIRST CONCERT THERE... IT WAS VARIOUS ARTISTS PERFORMING , IT WAS NOT A FREESTYLE CONCERT..BUT THEY HAD AT THE JUDY,CORO,GEORGE,CYNTHIA PERFORM "WE ARE THE ONES" TOGETHER AND THEN EACH ONE BROKE DOWN INTO THEIR SONGS, IT WAS OFF DA HOOK ,IT WAS ABOUT 3 OR 4 YRS AGO. IT WAS ASOME!!! I JUST KEPT ON LOOKING AT CYNTHIA AND I FELT LIKE I WAS HYPNOTISED...AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH..HE HE

I still haven't heard the song all the way through. I thought it was a good idea for all of them to get together like that. It would've been kewl if they had done a whole album together. Even though I didn't like the clips I heard of "We're The Ones" much (I thought it was a little corny), I definitely would've bought a whole album!
