Did you hear about the 100's of immigrant workers that worked for Wal-Mart got arrested? That is craaaaaaaazy! That's the governments fault. For letting them in this country in the first place. And those are the ones that work for "peanuts".

That happens everywhere. Nothing new down here in Puerto Rico is the same. Only thing Wal-mart hasn't done that here. We Puerto Ricans are sure lucky we don't need a green card, though.

But Enigma that's what I mean. Bendito si. They do it. But then they're the ones who turn out very successful. But yet these "bosses" abuse of them and that makes me feel so bad.
 
Yes most people are lazy. And these immigrants from other countries come here and make a business for themselves because they took all the B.S. from where they worked and settled for "chump change". Us that were born here, don't take no crap from anybody, and I feel are spoiled in this country. Alot have taken this country for granted. Where as these other people that come from other countries find this to be paradise.

I have a prob with this:
We did a mass hiring at the Dept. OF Labor for the new movie theater opening up in White Plains. We hired about 200+ people , cook,hostess',waitstaff included....
about 10-20 people I had to fire because when we hire new staff, BY LAW I call up the Social Security Admin. and verify that the number the provided is truly thiers. those 10-20 people had illegal SS#'s and cards.....
I understand that we all need/want to work- I give them credit for trying.I know I'm not the bad guy cuz I was doing my job.

I had a similar situation, I was working for this company in Chicago and girl we had to let go half of the company. The worst part was that I was the one that had to let them go. 🙁
 
Hye, you cant blame a guy for wanting to work. I have 4 illegal immagrants that work for me and they are the nicest guys. They came here from their poverishe country to seek a better life. They just want to be a part of the american dream.
 
True Kenny! Immigrants work their asses of for the american dream. Its just ashame how they get abused in some jobs...
 
Pinche migra, all the're doing is using the "immigration question" to deport as many Mexicanos as possible. Does anyone realize that 170 years ago half of this country was Mexican territory, and now after we've stolen it we just say you can't come here. I know it won't do any good but I am no longer shopping at wal-mart, even though they have good prices I'd rather pay more and be right.

:fkinaman That's what I mean. The whole of Amercia was built on inmigrants. They just want to stop Latinos from coming over.
Down here they have it against Dominicans.

That should be a lesson to everybody. If you want to live and work here in this country then make sure you are LEGAL. For those of you that don't habla that means coming here with your visa and passport. Can't do it if you hiked across a desert, swam across a river, got here on a banana boat, jumped/climbed over a fence, or are here beyond their visa limit. With that being wrote for those of you idle/lazy slackers out there get off your arse and get a job. There are now about 300 vacant jobs at Walmart.

Good things come to those that get off their lazy ass and go make something good happen for themselves.
