I HATE TO BE ALONE
WAITING BY THE TELEPHONE
KNOWING NO ONE WILL CALL
CURSING AT THE PICTURES OF MY "FRIENDS" HANGING ON THE WALL
PEOPLE DON'T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND
SAYING MAYBE IN MY LIFE I JUST NEED A MAN
NOW THAT EVERYONES GONE THEIR OWN WAY
WHEN WE DO TALK THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL TO SAY
THROUGH OUT THE YEARS WHY MUST PEOPLE CHANGE?
WHY CAN'T EVERYTHING GOOD IN LIFE JUST STAY THE SAME?
THE SADNESS IN MY LIFE MAKES ME FEEL SO SMALL
DOWN MY FACE THE TEARS ENDLESSLY FALL
I SIT AND I TRY TO COPE
PRAYING AND WISHING THAT THERE STILL MIGHT BE HOPE
THAT ONE DAY I WONT BE ALONE
EVEN IF I CAN MAKE IT ON MY OWN
WHY AM I HERE LEFT ALONE TO CRY
IF THEY SAY FRIENDS ARE WHAT GET YOU BY?
BUT I GUESS THAT IS WHAT A TRUE FRIEND MUST DO
WAIT AROUND UNTIL SOMEONE CALLS AND NEEDS YOU.

don't worry mama your not alone in that one.i can see eye to eye with you on this one. peoples lives change.things aren't always the same but they're not always good either.sometimes your friends can pretend to be happy and really aren't. sometimes' friends will wish it was the way it used to be too.it all depends the trail they walk on. or mabye i don't know what i'm talking about. but i don't know i'm a lil crazy my self right now.
