Looking for voice lessons

I am trying to get myself out there, looking to sing ANYWHERE! I live in Milwaukee, WI and NOTHING ever happens here, it seems. I sing good - have been compared to Vanessa Williams and Jewel. But I am not very assertive in myself and feel voice lessons would help me be more comfortable singing in public. Does anyone know where I can get good voice lessons, anyone that is willing to help me? Thank you!!
