The events from this calendar are automatically placed on the forum front page - at the very bottom of the screen.. People are accustomed to looking for events at this place on vBulletin forums..
Here are some simple instructions:
Click the "Calendar" link up above, then look to the bottom right where you'll find an "Add New Event" box.. From there, you'll choose either:
Single, All Day Event
Ranged Event
Recurring Event
Choose the best option (of the three above) for your event. Then follow the prompts. It's just like posting a message. You'll choose a title, (and for the calendar, you'll choose a date), and then post a message about the event...
