UMass student Disses The Late Pat Tillman

Dateline; Amherst Mass.

A UMass grad student; Rene Gonzalez critized Former NFL Star turned soilder; Pat Tillman in the College Newspaper. His column was titled; "Pat Tillman is not a hero:he got what was coming to him." He called Tillman a Rambo-like idiot.

Gonzalez writes in his school column; Tillman was a "Rambo" who probaly acted out of "nationallist patriotic fantacies." In his neighborhood in Pureto Rico, according to Gonzalez, Tillman would not have been considered a hero but a "pendejo," or idiot.

He drew hard critisim for his column from many on Campus. "The piece was disgusting, arrogant and intellectally immature." says Univ. President Jack Wilson.

Wow thats something else I think that is horrible just because a man left from playing professional football and making millionsto FIGHTING FOR HIS COUNTRY and making nothing out there but putting your life on the line. He is a true hero, and no one can judge him its like when rappers/ singers or any one out there that is making millions in what they are doing and then leaving because they say that the lord spoke to them one day. No one can say anything about what Pat tillman did and yes that was very ignorant of him to even say something like that. Its sad that people even think that way
