Just be real
But truth can hurt or even kill
Sometimes, we forget pain words instill
But truth is always revealed
Even when with a kiss sealed
If I run from my true heart
I find myself at the start
A circle of sorrow and pain
Guilty, I my true heart have slain
A breeze soothes once upon a time
And I pretend to be blind
But truth is here and there
So many of us deny, we dare
Trapped in a hell within
And my silence is my sin
Say it, don't be afraid
Follow thru decisions made
A true heart is both savior and menance
My true heart will deliver my sentence
How can I shy from emotions in my name
When nothing changes, I feel the same
I smile at ME in the mirror and pretend
I try to convince ME that I am a friend
