Trancy Freestyle

What does everyone here think about it? I was working on some new stuff and I did a track that has both elements. I think it might be able to give freestyle that 'kick off' that it needs since trance is still strong.

its a great Idea

Yo Pete, thats what I've been workin in the lab with "Blaze" , My engineer in Fresno and you'll see that sound I'm using on my tracks will be exactly what your talking about, and its a great Idea reguardless of what any one says, break beatz is whats hot today, (trance on freestyle loops) so combinning thease elementz with freestyle is mandotory in my book.
We also kickin some Hot R&B With a Moderate blend of Hip Hop On Mari P's LP

not to burst your bubble pete but its been done before.. and hey i still think trancey freestyle is an AWESOME idea all the same. its not the 80s anymore, u gotta add some trance elements into freestyle nowadays to give it that fresh sound for the 21st century. so good work & keep workin on it, and give us a sample if u can i'd like 2 hear ur stuff.

I always thought Cali. and Texas were a head of our time with freestyle, but we slowed down when Canada kept going.

trancy freestyle has been around for a while. it just hasn't been exposed enough in the mainstream for people to take notice. i have a lot of trance-like freestyle mp3s i would like to share but i don't know if that's allowed here.

Definitively not.
The genre is called Electro Freestyle.
Maybe you are talking about the keys, that make you think that this is Trancy Freestyle?!?
hmm...
I would say that those keys are oriented to Progressive and they are very common here in Europe especially into the Electro Freestyle's genre.

I don't know what Trancy Freestyle is for you? But most of the new European tracks, especially in Breakbeat style, marry Trance keys with Breakbeat, since a while now.
