It is kind of funny that you spelled my name as "Rock"...Back in 1987 I began messing around with turntables as a rap DJ. I went by the name of "DJ Rock Box" (Yes, I named myself after the Run-DMC song). I also went by the name of "Cutmaster Devastator-C" and was in a very short-lived Rap group called "The Devastation Crew"...When Rap went mainstream in 1989, I abandoned the genre and stared playing what most of my friends were into at the time...FREESTYLE. Soon I fell in love with Freestyle and formed the original -R.B.P.- (Rhoq Box Productions). We were a 6 member wanna-be Freestyle group (3 guys, 3 girls), but we parted ways (due to circumstances beyond our control) before we could record a demo (-R.B.P.-, right now, is just me)...Anyway, I dropped the "Box" from my name and was just "DJ Rock"...In 1993, I met who would have one day been my wife, and she was messing around with different spellings and came up with "Rhoq". I hated it at first, but one day after writing a song I decided to sign my name as Rhoq and it felt right. It was at that moment I became Rhoq. I guess I fell in love with the uniqueness of the spelling. Anyways, after 7 years we parted ways. I wanted kids now, she wanted to wait,blah blah blah. So, I started cheating on her and the rest is history.

Flashback - definitely!!!
When I saw this thread, I thought our old buddy Exotica had returned. I haven't seen her here in about a year.
As far as an -R.B.P.- reunion, I haven't a clue. I had lost contact with everyone over the last decade. There is a HS reunion in January, should I decide to go - I might run into some of them. The sad truth is, I could very well be the only left that still listens to and supports Freestyle music!
For now, The PFC is my main focus. Rhoq Solid Entertainment is the evolution of what was once known as -R.B.P.-
I hope to get RSE established as a real muli-media (Music, Film, Print) company over the next year or so.
