Mom I wrote this poem
Cuz I feel like I haven't had a chance
To tell you how much you make me feel at home
And at ease at a moments glance

Only you have stood by and believed in me
You showed me that I could do anything
All I had to do is look inside myself and believe
Even on those out of reach dreams

Time has gone by so fast
Still I find myself wanting to be closer to you
Yet I still feel like I'm a lil out of your grasp
And that makes me sad and blue

Happy memories is what I will forever keep
In my heart of hearts I know you've tried
It's the mother daughter relationship I seek
Just need to tell you that and release all my self pride

Everything you have done for me
Has made me become what I am today
I hope to become half the woman you are, you see
Even though I never say it ... I love you mom each and every day

Remember I've never stopped believing in you
You are more than my mother, you're my world
The world I can turn to whenever I need something true
And I'm proud to be you're baby girl.

Your right Leigh.... which is why I would like that connection, me and my mom aren't that close but doesn't change how I feel about her

I know what you mean at one day me and my mom stop talking and it killed me..she got sick one time and I swore I would never do that again but look at it as a scare and live my every moment with her. Remember a mom is only one. Reach out mama, and treat everyday as it were your/her last... Re-connect before its too late, you dont want to have regrets
