its been the moto that almost always comes to mind with this site and my group "TKA".
since the day i got on this page years ago i tried to kill the mystic in many ways i don,t like titles.i want to tell the truth about this and all i wanted is respect for us ,but on this page and many others ["planethype" back in the days]we've been made to walk on water .i was one who did not want the return of tka .i felt it was better off a memory that our music should speak for its self .no one twisted my arm i did it for you the fans and to be honest i did not expect it to last this long [ i did not want it too]
yes we ended off on a high maria was our most successful record it took us in a streetier direction which paved the way for my direction as k7 ,as i stated before it was suppose to be part of that package.but it ended.THANK GOD FOR GREAT MEMORIES..[CARLITOS WAY]
i've been our biggest crytic tka's biggest hater [if you will].i,m also the speed bump on the road . let me explain
i'm not as die hard as all of you are i won't let freestyle kill me i know what it needs to survive and in my round about ways have tried to let you future freestylers know how to go ,but for the most part you brush of the ideas [its cool ].i don't believe the promoters and radio program directors when they say that they don't have enough to pay us our due.i turn down show constantly from some of the biggest clubs around the country. i'm not one to mince my words you guys are right some of us don't get along, and once you cross me i'm not one to forgive either ,but good or bad thats my way .
ty bless can tell you cause thats my best friend his been with me through thick and thin i am an a$$ hole when it comes to tka ,

k7 was easy for me cause if i f..up then i f..up .if we make a bad choice in tka you got two others to deal with and then a life time worth of i told you so's.tony and i own the name tka with joey gardner.angel is for all intents and purpose an employee who we don,'t have the heart to let go. believe everyone has had there moment tony, me, joey gardner, peachy, ty bless when we wanted him out depending on what time of the year it is one of us is saving him from the wrath of the other .now we bicker like kids put any boy band tv show on and realize that we are worse [10 to 20X's worse].but we've been on the road to disaster all along.from management problems,money,chicks,weight problems,thievery,jealousy,envy,.back in the day i followed joey around cause this [tka] was my heart. but our disagreements about everything from why i'm sang the songs to why i'm in the studio ran there course to kill us.joey,s gone now his choice as it was with k7,and i'm thankful for his contribution.i just hope he gets some one good to play me in the movie.[they got to be latin]
lets talk talent..tony is a good song writer, motivator,idea man.he can out wit anyone if he wanted too tka has not helped him become the business man that he can be the b.s stops us all.tony is genius in his ways of getting things to happen . angel[ before i go on we are in the outs right now but this are my views regardless]
at one point he had the potenial to be a singer but he could not make up his mind on whether he wanted to play ball or sing playing ball won.he was suppose to sing so many songs on the "louder than love" album and he ended up being on half of one. on the forever album i wanted him to sing everything. why you ask? because i wanted an easy way out if i decided to quit .but he never showed for more than an hour to the studio because of his desire to be chilling .in the end though he was the one who sang the song i most wanted to sing "say word". "feel the music" was a song that no one not even tom silverman would force me to sing.[and they tried]angel sang it].he can't hack it the preasure of filling someones shoes has been too great for him,its been his burden since day one [read my "stan" post for slight more insight]but even when he could have come on his own he didn't .remember he did run this business for five years without tony and i and we still got to recover from that .
FOREVER
we never said it was a freestyle album you the fan expected it but we did not want that to happen .we feel its our best album regardless
you guys wrote that i'm the group thank you for the compliment but tony and angel and our management past and present have alot to do with too.but tony & i started tka and together we will end it
.the persute of outside interest in business should not be a reason for anyone to retire it should come down to the individual.
why don't we perform k7 songs?
the group is called "tka" not "k7" and for that to happen it would have to be called "t.k.a featuring k7"[lol].i don't feel that my partners can pull off .its a totally different animal.i believe in it differently.but its a great idea the show would last about an hour the dancin would be nonstop .and you would have no time to get tired of seeing the same show.but if your as die hard as some of you are you most realize that you run the risk of geting bored if the show,our clothing,etc no matter what.but there are people like the crystal's of the world who never saw us.
IS IT TIME TO HANG UP THE TURTLENECKS ?
i think its time for a change i think its time to let go.i think its time to remember the hunger.we[singers caught up in freestyle]are alot more talented than our music allows us to be but so many of us are so scared that we'll die here in obscurity.
AGE....
we have not found the fountain of youth so we all will grow older .
we all will retire .we all will die [hopefully in that order.
i want to leave on a high again with all the pieces inplaceand fitting properly working properly but i'm one member in a group of three and as such we got to deal with what we got .but i promise this no one will sing my songs other than me .....
