Did anyone hear about TKG walking out on the fans at the nightclub in penache Brooklyn. Well a friend of mind went and all i have to say is that they really f**k the fans over. From what i heard They were suppossed to perform and for some reason they never came out, not even to inform the fans, i guees that shows how much they care for their fans, HORRIBLE FOR FREESTYLE.
 
I dont blame them. They are not in the business to do "freebies". How would you like to be asked to go to work at the office and not get paid? whatever their reason is, its a good one and they made the right one. Sure, i would be upset if i paid the cover and they ended up not performing but HEY, that's life. It's happened before and no one has gotten in trouble for it.

In response, to a post on another site, as to why
TKG did not perform at Club Panache, on Saturday,
Dec 21, this is the information I have received
from TonyO of TKG.

Although, the group themselves was more than enthused to
perform for their fans, this was not the case at this event.
Even with KTU sponsoring, this event was still not promoted
Properly. The majority of flyers printed gave a wrong address
to the club, as to divert the general public. This, due the club
owners tried to do unprofessional business by recruiting the
group to his club and having a more private show for his
40+ personal guest list, less fans, and no intentions to
oblige by his agreement of -any- compensation for the
groups performance. Due to this unprofessional business,
TKG was forced to make the decision, to not perform, if they
were not even going to perform for a majority of fans, but
instead for this club owners personal friends.

TKG is not an amateur group, they are professionals, they've
been in this business for many years, and they shouldn't be
subjected to book a date, and not even perform for a crowd
of true fans! Please know that it's not about the money, it's
about the fans, and doing business the right way.
Apologies to any true fans that were inconvenienced.

I AGREE WITH WHAT THE GUYS DID. THERE IS NO WAY THEY SHOULD BE EXPECTED TO PERFORMED FOR FREE. REGARDLESS OF HOW MUCH LOVE THERE IS FOR THE ART THIS IS STILL A BUISNESS AND THESE GUYS NEED TO GET PAID TO SURVIVE. I WAS ALSO THERE AND YES I WAS DISAPOINTED BUT I UNDERSTAND THE SITUATION. I WORK TO GET PAID NOT BECAUSE I LOVE JOB. THIS WILL NOT STOP ME FROM ENJOYING THEIR AND GOING OUT TO SEE THEM PERFORM. I BLAME THE CLUB NOT THE GUYS.

TKG did the right thing as for walking out. At first when I heard about it I was like "How could they do that?" After reading what really happened I was like "HELL YEAH! I woulda did the same thing!" Only maybe I would have told the fans that were there. Don't hate. Everyone needs to get paid. 😡
 
I AGREE WITH WHAT SOME OF MY CF IT WAS FCK UP. BUT IT WAS NOT THE FAULT OF TKG, IS WAS THE FAULT OF THE CLUB IF YOU HIRE SOMEBODY YOU BETTER MAKE SURE THAT YOU HAVE THE MONEY TO PAY THE ARTIST. THIS SUCK FOR TKG THEY WERE THERE TO PERFORM THEY HELD THEIR END. THE CLUB DID NOT, PERIOD, LET GET OFF THIS TOPIC.

I'M SURE THIS ISN'T THE FIRST TIME THIS HAS HAPPENED AT THIS CLUB, THAT IS WHY MANY OF MY FRIENDS AND I DON'T BOTHER GOING TO THE CLUB ANYMORE, CAUSE OF THE SHADY POLITICS OF THE OWNERS... MOST EVERYTIME WE GO ,WE'RE USUALLY DISAPPOINTED-GET DRUNK -AND LEAVE...TKG DID THE RITE THANG...JUST MAKE SURE YOU INFORM THE FANS NEXT TIME..FREDDIE...😉 😉

If they are so professional as you state, why couldn't they have informed the fans,that would have been the mot professional thing to do in that case. I understand they couldn't get paid thats why they did what they did ofcourse it's all about the money everyone know's that. I know artists that would have atleast informed their fans with what was going on, but no they just walkied out without giving a damn about the fans. I know everyone needs to get paid, people are saying that they would have done the same thing if that happend at their job, but you have to understand that you can't compare both, artists in my opinion ofcourse there job is for the money but also for the fans.I have to admit i lost some respsect for them THAT JUST WASN'T THE MOST PROFESSIONAL THING TO DO but then again thats just my opinion, regarding the group, im sorry to say, but geroge lamond is in a higher league vocal wise and he makes Tk sound like amatuers, he should stay solo cause the man got skill's.
 
It's ashame that the boys have to deal with that crap along with all
the other pressures of being artists. It seems the the club owner
tried to place the boys between a rock and a hard place. Tried to
simulate a false situation to get what they want.

But TKG have been around a long time - long enouph to know not to
give into people like this. It's the fans and artists who suffer.
Anyways - like ClubFossil said - I am sure in all the years that it's
probably not the first time it happened. Just something else to
deal with in the biz.

We know that TKG will make it up to the fans as always.
Lets support our peeps because when the peices fall,
all we got is each other.

BE ON A COMPUTER, THEREFORE, THEY HAD NO IDEA THIS MATTER

yes we did not set foot on stage to express to the less then 100 people that were there that we were not going to perform ,but there alot that goes with that we are not the first group in history to have that happen to them either .
but any member of cf that went and felt cheated i will gladly put them and a friend on my guess list. to any event where tka [or g] which ever you prefer is performing [first come first serve basis ].
wow demon you really got in for us ...keep it up i like it .

Ahhhhhhhhhhh the damn drama that never ends...Listen..TKA is human..we all need the mula..LOL! They did the right thing..I would have been upset at first, but I would have gotten over it because you gotta do what u gotta do.
 
Here we go first off it ist the performers job to inform the attendies that there will not be a performance thats the club and promoters job I work with promoters and know how shit goes down. Second off this isnt a george sounds better thread keep the thread on the topic dont down any artist up in here more so when they are still doing there thing and giving good as shows. Again it is the club and promoters job I was there. So where professionalism comes into place isnt on the artist they have always been straight up professionals in every show they have given. SOmeone always got to try and knock this group every chance they get. Show some respect for these artist cause I will not let anyone come in here trying ot knock artist who come to this site and give there time to the fans.
 
See this is the shit I am talking about, "fans" are so quick to cut down an artist when something happens, but if the artists were to do that shit, they are bitches or punkass nuccas..LOLOL it phucking kills me how this shit becomes a one way street. It happened tome once too, the club tried to cut down the pay because they didn
t promote good enough, but that's is not my problem, I showe dup to perform, give me the money, but they didn't want the performance to go on, so they escorted me and my camp out of the club,and we were not able to get on stage to tell the crowd, and I can just imagine what the hell they told the crowd, but the crowd never new the real reason I didn't perform. But Phuck it people make up thier own stories to fit thier mood..lolol
