I was just wondering, i hear one story and another, is TKA together ?? or are they broken up ?? I know theyve been working together lately, but then i've also heard that the album wont come out, hmmm Thanks Randy

The TKA's album have been delayed to Spring.
From what I heard too, the mixes of the first single are done and should be available on promo copy pretty soon (February).
This is the last information I got. But i think things changed again. But unfortunately, I don't have any futher information. I will wait like anybody else on this board.
Also, Joey Gardner is not working on the project anymore. Too bad!

TKA are back together. They are half way done with their album. Edwin Ramos produced a phat pop joint with TKA called "You Don't Feel It" be sure to check it out if you can! TKA does have a new label, and there are no longer working along with Joey Gardner, which has been confirmed by Kayel and Joey Gardner himself! There is no release date yet but hopefully we'll all know soon! However, I heard Kayel is still continuing on with the K7 stuff!

Didn't they release "When will I see you again?" recently? Please do not say they are still broken up... they were (ARE) great. I remember in 87 / 88 when I ran up and down Newark Avenue, downtown Jersey City taking down all their posters that were hung on poles advertising where they were going to be performing, because they looked great!!! Don't worry... I left some up so everyone would know where they were playing! 0=-)

OK, im setting this straight here. Fact is (duh) they are reunited. TKA is releasing "when will i see you again" in early spring as their newest single to date, with mad mad mixes so yeah i think its safe to call it a maxi single. then after that probably in the summer pops out the album. and for those of you who havent heard, i had access to another single by TKA called "you dont feel it" this track is totally not freestyle, its the "bailamos" remix.........no im kidding. its spanish pop. if you want the track all you gotta do is talk to some Edwin character to give it to you......supposedly hes the one who made the track. ummm i really don know his name on here but i know he has one. but, f*** it, i dont think you need his username i think youll need his email. anyone wanna help out here? oh and as far as Kayels concerned K7 is still up and runnin but i dont know what the hell Kayel plans to do with that. but i heard the supposedly "hits" album was going to have some k7 songs on there. new or not? i dont know. peace!

C'mon, does somebody possess some real information? It will be wonderful if a professional who works on the TKA project can inform us. I don't ask him to reveal some secret information but at least a release date, the name of the label...and so on!

Does anyone remember when "WHEN WILL I SEE YOU AGAIN?" was supposed to be released back in July of 2000...Hmmm, It was NEVER made commercially available!!! What about the new greatest hits package "THE BEST OF EVERYTHING" which has seen August, September, October & November 2000 release dates before being pushed into an indefinate 2001 release?
If TKA have changed their sound to mimick "BAILAMOS" then I guess they have abandoned their true fans...Where is the Freestyle? I don't want to hear the "If you were a true fan you'd support TKA no matter what they do" garbage. I've heard it all before.
