Ive been a round this Industry for over 10yrs and This Freestyle buisness is full of So called "Producers".

Well Ashley became an aquatance of one of this producer and forwardred sums of money " Thousands " to this individual whom I shall not name . As None of this is slanderous but i dont want As I checked with our attorneys and this subjects got not only got some civil issues they may also have federal postal issues and federal fraud charges as a wire transfer was utlized.


From day one I was skeptical and We keep getting the perverbial run around


Oh My acountant send the check Blah blah blah.


You Know who you are and Its not me who cares about the $$$, It was from Ashley and one of her Relatives.

I feel ya...That why I am going slow with my music empty promises and stuff like that held me back a little but that is just hopw it is and your right about being aware...........Tahst mesed up.Thats ok cause we are going to get her to the cleveland pr festival so she will get heard in cleveand and thats for sho

Damn I guess things don't change after so many years! and there you have it people, we can add this to another reason this genre will never get anywhere.
 
I heard a few years ago some artist payed some for demos in ct and never got anything out of it!

Damn forte that's a shame, I heard about something going on with a old school big time so-called producer, although from what I remember it had nothing to do with phyiscally working with the artist as much as it had to do with taking there money for some bogus purpose and then jerked the small group involved giving them run arounds about some association complication. All that's left are the skid marks and ofcourse the disappearing acts.. You'd never suspect that dude could be so foul and then he disappeared..umph that really sucks. Sorry to hear about that, I'm sure Ashley bounced back. It's foul that that bad seed continues to grow. People who really beleive in freestyle are so willing and so unsuspecting that we need to watch our pockets when it comes to producers.. not all of them but a bad seed here and there creating fraudulent funding and fraudulent artist associations for the love a freestyle. Sometimes we end up with empty pockets and no excuses.. If it's to good to be true then,, sometimes it is. Beware people.

Dayum that is truly some disgusting shit to do to someone. I am so sorry to hear that happend to Ashley she is deff someone who did not deserve something like that to happen to her, no one does but Ashley is someone who gves so much of herself in her music. Whats a shame is that there are people who do run bullshit schemes, I have deff seen it nd know plenty of it and it is alays the people you least expect. My advice to anyone breaking in or already in the industry always ask around to people who have either worked or know of the person because things are never what they seem someone has already been here done that and can offer advice. A producer who is real and truly believes in an artist wont ever ask for money just as they do in modeling. Best of luck mama in all future projects keep your head up.
 
The music bussiness is just like any other bussiness u always got to have lawyers look over contracts to make sure there is nothing unexpected in them.
 
Producers get screwed over by labels & artists just as well.

Ashley- What you need to do is "take care" of that/those individual/individuals. If you watched "Empire", you'd know what I mean. Maybe not as vicious, but some asses need to be kicked, and badly. Shit like that isn't cool, but neither is taking someones money and not supplying the goods. As a matter of fact, that mutha phuckas name should be ADVERTISED all over this site so that other expecting artists' could be aware. 'Cuz if he did it once, he'll do it again.
 
It happens in all areas of the business. I've heard "check's in the mail" from several people who I've done work for, doing bios and discographies. It's very disappointing, especially when these people hire you because they like what you do, and then think that you work for free.
 
Ashley is so sweet and adorable and caring!!! How could this guy that did this be so heartless? :mad What a sick phuck man...to benefit from another's work and hard efforts. Just wait till he finds himself really screwed in the end.
