The Top 50 Freestyle Songs of 2005!!!! Here by your votes!!!!

Wow!

You guys made me work this year. :lol I've tracked these songs up and down our member voted countdows from Jan to now, and I have them compiled in order from #50 to #1 in popularity.

Because I've had a few people ask how I do the ranking, before we get to the chart, I'll give a brief explanation on how I set this up.

I run the charts by votes. Songs that get the most votes, rank higher up the chart. The song with the most votes gets the #1 position.

For the year end chart, when there are more than one song with the same number of votes, I use chart position to break the tie.

Example......

Let's say for year end these songs hit our chart.

Exposè-Point of No Return 20 votes 2 wks at #1
Cover Girls-Show Me 20 votes
Sweet Sensation-Never Let You Go 20 votes 1 week at #1

those three songs got 20 votes each. Show me did not hit #1 on our chart, so it would be 3rd. Never Let You Go spent one week at the top spot, it would be second. Point Of No Return spent 2 weeks at #1 on our chart, so it would be first. That's how the tie is broken.

However, sometimes, there are songs that never hit #1 on our chart, but get soooo many votes, they can be placed higher on our chart. That happened this year.

Our Number One song this year, never hit #1 on our member voted monthly charts. However, it was on our charts more than any other song, for longer periods of time, and got more votes than any other because of that, so it is our number one song this year.

I won't say keeping freestyle Alive, because in reality if it was dead no one will care to do this music nor continue to listen to it, nor do shows. So the music is alive just not pumping like it should be, but we will get there but surely.
