The Simpsons is going to be the longest running sitcom.I cant believe the Simpsons been around for almost 20 years?The animation has got alot better since the first episodes and the story lines are so funny.It's not hard to believe the show has survived for so long, I never get bored.Gotta love The Simpsons, my neice & nephew watched the show their how lives!Long live the Simpsons!
 
Damn it's been that long??? I don't really watch the simpsons but my kids do. I guess they're doing something right for it to have lasted this long.
 
yeah, they keep us laughing for 20 years.Comedy shows are very difficult and it seems that the Simpsons never changed, which is probably the main reason it lasted so long.
 
Wow...the Simpsons is one of the few things I watch anymore and I got the DVD sets 🙂
 
I remember I was in gr 1 or 2 when I first saw the Simpsons...my mother didn't really like us watching it when we were younger something about it being "crude and disgusting" lol 😛

i LOVE the simpsons... i have my own homer doll... 😉... its my daddy... 😀. Damn they been around for a while... my car was all simpsoned out...
 
I remember when Burger king released all the family Simpsons Dolls-collected them all.Still have most still in plastic-that was over 16 years ago!
 
When the show made it's first debut on The Tracy Ullman Show, she was quoted somewhere as saying "It's cute little filler time in between my skits" Hmmmm who'da think it would outlast her show! Plus Bill Cosby got into a big stink about the show saying it was "immoral, and un-ethical" and tried to get the public to boy-cott against the show. Sorry Bill should of stuck to pudding pops!
 
am i the only one here who's opposed to "new" simpsons? gone on too long! reminds me of 70s show, no point renewing a show that has lost its funniness. simpsons needs to end, they've already had their good times & they're over
 
Just like the Warner Bros cartoons...classics enjoyed by generations 🙂
