Well, let's have fun with this one. Trivia Question #1

What is the tiny little connection between the 80's mega hit by Shana "I Want You" and "The Return of the Planet Freestyle" cd???
 
hint#1: intro cue to Shana "I Want You" is inspired on one of the tracks on the cd. Which track is it?

one of the Planet Freestyle Tracks on that CD sounds like STevie B's FUNKY MELODY in the beginning hehehe
 
Track #3 kinda starts of like that... listen to it and then listen to the FUNKY MELODY you'll know what I'm talking about hehe

It is on so many freestyle compilations, including SPG's greatest freestyle hits, as it was a single from 1989. If you have the chance to pick up the album on Attic/Universal in some cheap discount bin, you most likely will enjoy a listen. It also includes hit singles "(You) Can't Get Way" and "Falling Slowly".

The synth cue of the track, which is also present in the sample, was inspired on one of the planet freestyle tracks. which one?????

not easy but i've never heard the intro cue to "i want you"

but i did notice that anthony gitto's song intro kinda sounded like an old freestyle song (i wont mention it in case it's a future trivia question 😉)
 
OK OK The synthcue of Shana "I Want You" is inspired in parts of the new Collage Feat. Kathy Phillips track "Angel". Listen up and look for it!

maybe its just me...but I think the beginning of "Give Me Love" by Alexia Phillips sounds a bit like the freestyle version of "Against All Odds" by Tamara..

not a bad thing or anything. lol...just wondering if anyone else noticed it?
 
Since Mr.Phillips produced Tamara - Against All Odds Freestyle Mix, could be a good possibility!
 
o i heard the "i want you" synthcue in "angel" when i listened to yesterday's frenzy - ok then :stoned
speaking of which.. how come the PF songs aren't getting the airplay they deserve on the frenzy, it seems like tony plays up to 1 each week only.
