i went to see it today and i gotta say it was a great movie! it was very powerful, very dramatic and very emotional mel gibson did a good job in directing it he made it with every single detail as it occur according to the new testament

thru out the movie it has made me so sad :realsad :sosad of what i was seeing that the scenes are so graphic and brutal that i notice ppl in the theater covering their faces of the beating they were giving the one who was playing jesus christ and even myself i could say that it has touch my spiritual side alot more and being catholic i dont think that this movie is anti this and anti that cuz as we all know with all the media hype thats going on the jews right now are all piss off at this movie bcuz maybe they dont want the world to know the real truth or maybe is bcuz they still wanna be ignorant and not accept that fact the jesus christ is the one true lord and messiah cuz according to them by what they go by in the old testament they still waiting for the one to come......hmmmm

well if you're a christian or not i think that this movie would make a believer out of u i think ur faith will increase so its a must see movie! i would definately recommend it to all i give it a big thumbs up!

Cool Al,

I agree with everything you have said.. The Jews have it wrong though, it was not them that decided Christ's death neither was it the Romans, it was Christ's descision to lay his life down for his sheep. Christ went to the cross not the jews not the Romans.

God Bless Bro

Simon

You know what makes me laugh?????

All the people who are surprised at how "brutal" the movie is.

HELLO!!!! They crucified the man.....what did you think was gonna happen???? He would just hang on the cross and then die of boredom?

I agree. Also, do you guys know that EVERY actor that's played Christ has died. Murder, heart attack. That kind of stuff. That's freaky, hope Mel Gibson isnt next. :crap

Mel isn't Christ in the movie, he directed it. I want to see it myself. Media is tellin us its too gory and that it's not all that? All the more I want to see it.

well maybe the ones that were in the old movies from the past but the one who was in the jesus of nazareth that came out in the 90's i think he still around

if your talking about the last temptation of christ taht was william dafoe and he is still alive

The movie looks very interesting. On the cover of the Philadelphia Daily News there is a huge pic of the man who plays Jesus & the make up they did on him is awsome. The cuts on his chest & the scars look so real it's amazing

what gets me is i hear some people are mad that the movie came out well here is somethin to say to the ones who hate the movie dont go see same for everything going on tv and movies lately if u dont like it i belive last time i checked there was a remote u can change the station . i guess its just me .

Well I am excited and looking forward to see it. I am a believer in Christ 100% I give Him all the Praise

Hey Al.......I heard that movie was good. I think that I may go check it this weekend. I'll let ya know what I think.

nah not that one, the one im reffering to is 6 hrs long i had it recorded on vhs thou i wanna get it on dvd but um to those that are gonna see it i hope ya go with an open mind cuz if ya really wanna get to know jesus and what he went thru and
did for all of us then this movie is gonna touch ur heart in a way like u never imagine so go see it guys

cant wait to watch it!! it seems like a great picture... very powerful

I am taking my oldest to go see it maybe this weekend. My mom doesn't want me to take my lilttle on eto see it, cause she said that it may be too violent, I told her look at the crap he sees on tv, that's an everyday thing..do you think it's wrong to take my 5 year old to see it? I mean I really want them both to see the movie.

wow, when i first saw some previews..i got chills..
esp cuz they speak in tongues, give you the real
effect to it....i definately wanted to go yesterday,
but they were sold out until today..so i got my tix
yesterday for today..i can't wait!

Naya, i think yr lil one should be ok to go, it is a family
film..if there are parts where he'd rather not watch then
he can always cover his eyes...but im sure the majority
of the film will be a learning experience..for all of us..
if you or yr kids ever went to catholic school, then
you know that since pre-k they teach you the history
of christ and try to explain the crucification as much as
possible..with books & even films..there's nothing pretty
about being crucified..you may want to warn your kids of
that so they know what to expect as well. then of course
this film is making history and will be there forever, they
can always see it as they get older..
