I'm watching the 61st Golden Globe Awards and I was so happy to see that a couple of the actors and actresses won an award for HBO's "Angels in America". That mini series was awesome. It was great. It had great stars in it like Al Pacino, Meryl Streep, Jeffrey Wright, Mary Louise Parker, etc. And the show itself won an award too! :yeey


Anybody else watching it?
 
I'm watching it also, and the girl who did that movie monster just won for best actress, good for her. & lost in translation just won.
 
I was really glad that Sarah Jessica Parker won...she's great! However, I would have liked to have seen one of the other girls from the show win for Supporting Actress!

Caught a little bit of it... and I saw Charlize Terron win for Best Actress...

Angela in America did really well and it was Sophia Coppola's first movie (right?)

Good for her.

JENNIFER LOPEZ looks beautiful as always and presented an award to one of my favorite directors SOFIA COPPOLLA(VIRGIN SUICIDES) for "LOST IN TRANSLATION", so I was happy to se these two on stage.I knew "THE OFFICE" would win- have seen two episodes of that show and it's done with excellence.THE BEST DRESSED OF THE NIGHT-JENNIFER LOPEZ and GWEN STEFANI.WORST-that guy from QUEER EYE-PINK SUIT SO UGLY.I also liked seeing JANE FONDA AND HER SON FROM THE FILM "SOLDIERS GIRL" they were the best pair of the night.ALSO,IT WAS GOOD TO SEE BARBARA STREISAND and AL PACINO.LOL.
 
charlize deserves that award. she was awesome in that movie "Monster", an indie film so release is limited. she went to great length for that role, good movie.
